I've heard that Payne is injured and won't be fit for the start of the season. Iandolo is out for a minimum of six weeks. Taylor unlikely to figure before September, if he re-signs. Missing two of our best players at this stage is far from ideal.
Terry was there last night but Scully and KVY weren't. The two trialists did well it seems, especially Akande. | |

I doubt Lyle will be going anywhere else whilst he's injured, that's the critical factor at play here. By the sounds of it, he's not going to be fully fit (i.e. injury-free) for a fair few weeks yet, and then he's got to work on his match fitness, on top of which we've yet to offer him a contract and he's yet to accept. I'll be surprised if we see him much before second half of September - but I still hope we do. | |
