As always good listening.

Never knowingly right.

Not to start a new ground thread but if we are to stay in the borough H&F there are only 2 options (type in H&F to google maps).

A) LR we (QPR) own it,
B) Linford Christie Stadium (or what ever name it goes by) and H&F own it,

So can both parties stop fannying about and decide whether to bring LR up to date or demolish LR and give it to the council in a swap for LCS and build a new stadium with sporting facilities that we and the residents of the borough can use.

Strictly speaking the Car Giant site is also within H&F albeit not in W12. Since Old Oak Common changed the plan to make that area not suitable for housing development I wonder if a mutually beneficial agreement could be reached with car giant. Whilst we've annoyed them previously they are a business so may be willing to listen to a good offer from our new representatives.

Interesting that he mentioned the stadium and Nourry.

Sounded a bit like a PR statement to me but am I just being a bit cynical?

I do agree that if the owners develop LR, having already completed the training ground then they have righted every wrong and should be held in high regard.

David McIntyre and PR for the club are two things that will never be said in the same sentence.

Hmmm. He seems to have swivelled a fair amount on his previous thoughts on the CEO and MC.
I’m not the only one to say that either .

I wonder why ?

Genuine question

I don't think Dave has ever been a massive fan of Marti and not really heard him go one way or the other on Nourry yet.

I think it was interesting though to hear an argument in the previous pod he did as to why the club were looking to change which he did preface with wasn't what he would do but is a possible reason why they have done it and there is blame on both sides

Mart

My take was that Dave’s main thrust was against previous CEOs/owners and their lack of relationship with H&F rather than a swivel on Nourry but that his appointment could be a big plus and turning point in decision making/approvals.

What happens next would be indicative of whether the relationship allows us to crack on with a much needed investment in H&F. Still remains an open question on Nourry’s ability to work with them - unproven and WIP.

Disclaimer - I was cutting the grass (empathetically) whilst listening to it though, so maybe I misinterpreted that angle. My agents will speak to other parties as necessary.

Those possessed by devils, try and keep them under control a bit, can't you ?

I am sure Dave said that in his opinion Marti had done enough to deserve a third season at the club.

I think Dave, like me, thinks Marti deserved a third season as he has now got used to The Championship. Better the devil you know. At times we played some good football with an injury weakened squad and Marti showed that tactically he could set us up very differently to get the most out of the squad.

At other times we were awful! If next season had been another Marti rollercoaster then he would have been removed. He may have done a lot better but unfortunately we will never know.

Yes fair points.
My gist was more about the last month of WLS pods, rather than the latest episode in particular .

But it was only a passing observation really .

Personally, I find Dave Mc to be the most logical and sensible voice when it comes to Rangers. He did also caution that CN could be part of an approach to gain favour for wider property development and possibly relocate Rangers as was attempted under Wright which Dave played a crucial part in stopping, among others. He provided different scenarios, and of course he’s right. If they do secure Rangers a long term, new or developed home, a lot of what’s gone before will be forgiven.

His views of Akos and Adel are probably the only big thing I disagree with him on. To me it was clear Adel had more talent and could go further - and I loved Buzz - but he saw it the other way.
