However, the point was how we seem to mess things up when we are nearly nailed on buying strikers. That is what I don't understand and am questioning.

Perhaps the London location was preferable for the player?

I was on another Swansea forum but left as there were too many clowns on there. I say clowns in the fact that they were abusive, childish and had no respect for other people's opinions.
I come on here (I'd joined years ago. I had to have a password reset. Not sure I ever posted) and the first post gets ridiculed. You are still doing it. How is it inane? Everything I put is factual.
As you are, from another person, an esteemed poster, I'd expect better. Don't agree, fine. Don't abuse it.
As we both started supporting in the same year I'd expect us to have decent discussions even if we disagree on them.
I hope we still will as we've both seen it all.

This guy is definitely not a scummer. I know him personally from way back (I also have been watching The Swans since 1978) and he's a true Jack (though neither of us actually come from within the boundaries of the City & County of Swansea).
But I'm more of a Jack than The Knobbing Hockster as I was a school year above him!

There's a lot of tidy people on there where you can debate and have a laugh, particularly if you're watching a game on TV. Suddenly there was an influx of clowns who thought they were right about everything and God help you if you disagreed. Got called all sorts. Getting wound up enough to ask if they wanted to meet to "discuss" things lol. Better to leave and reboot elsewhere, where, hopefully, it won't be so bad. I know there'll be some on here who can't reply without being rude or obnoxious but I hope there's far less.
