First summer in years I’ve not misssed football in the slightest , usually by now I’m counting the days till the fixtures come out , this year summer couldn’t care less , the whole secret squirrel episode by the club had made me think blah i really am not bothered. , and if the rumours are true about el frog. Coming in as the new victim I’m even less bothered about next season [Post edited 10 Jun 23:04]

yeah not missed it at all, renewed my ticket today but have no excitement at all about the new season, maybe that will change when Morgan Fox gets a new deal

Who's missing qpr already... on 08:39 - Jun 11 with 1724 views | thehat | Must admit not missing it at all thus far. Maybe it's the lack of communication from the club that has made me feel like this. Not renewed our season tickets yet either - I am even thinking do I bother this year and just pick and chose games instead especially with all those horrible 12.30pm kick offs.
Who's missing qpr already... on 11:38 - Jun 11 with 1613 views | themodfather | nope, enjoying the break from worry, stress , depression, anxiety and all the goes with QPR. don't care about manager or player talk, its day 1 when new season starts i focus. not pre season ( our tours are usually dire anyway)

Who's missing qpr already... on 12:06 - Jun 11 with 1563 views | Northernr | Not even a little bit. I'm kind of concerned, never felt like this before. The idea of me doing 48 match previews and reports at this point has me alternating between laughter and anxiety attacks.

Who's missing qpr already... on 13:09 - Jun 11 with 1474 views | _tf_ | Not even remotely. So much so in fact that I have just bought a ST for Berkhamsted FC. The Joel Lynch podcast thing tipped me over the edge. I mean, I have known for a long time that a lot of pro footballers are mercenary but to actually hear it made my blood boil and freeze at the same time (if that's possible). I spent many an hour watching non-league last year. Football where the centre halves are still centre halves and any rolling around with what appears to be a career ending injury is mercilessly mocked by anyone standing near the player. This means that players don't do it. I will freely admit to being a football luddite, cannot stand the constant passing between the back four and I simply do not understand 'transitions' and 'breaking lines', When all is said and done, I think modern football is overpriced and DEEPLY boring now. It's taken me an age to get to grips wth this (a regular at LR since '73) because it means spending less time at a place which is truly one of the few constants in my life. But tbh the only reason I've kept with it is because it means beer and pie with my son and a few friends. Someone else posted that we're not really fans any more, more customers. Well Fck that for a game of soldiers. PS the way the club is currently being run has been the cherry on the cake.

let's be honest, you could probably write the future match reports now, what's that expression about leopards...

Two thoughts. Just post the score and we can do the rest or, get an early jump on being replaced by AI and let ChatGPT do it. Six games in and it'll have you sussed and you can just sit back and relax with Williams and Kim Jung over mohitos in Dubai and laugh at how easy this football malarkey is. Shukran habibi.

Way of the world these days. We're seeing such appalling transitions in industries where so much is creamed off at the top to the detriment of the product and those at the bottom. I don't want this comment to be political because it's not political. It's greed that is fuelling this and greed exists on all sides of the political spectrum. Just spoke to a Thames Water engineer who is close to retirement and he's appalled at what has been going on and how it's been allowed to go on. Football is going the same way. The 'good' thing is that I have a choice. I can just stop going, or as you've done, maybe go local non-league. I can't stop having water in my house though.
Who's missing qpr already... on 15:47 - Jun 11 with 1263 views | LowerloftLad | I only went once last season. I haven't even bothered renewing my chertsey town season ticket. I'll just pay on the gate if I can even be asked to rock up. I'm actually enjoying my time away from football in general at the moment. [Post edited 11 Jun 15:49]

Who's missing qpr already... on 17:36 - Jun 11 with 1146 views | numptydumpty | I am missing the journey there and back. I miss the bit before the game in the stadium !!! But the bit I don't miss is the stuff that seems to occur on the pitch when the players are supposedly competing !!! Yes weirdly I miss it but can not understand why....

Who's missing qpr already... on 17:42 - Jun 11 with 1128 views | Logman | Not particularly missing it. 9 months from Aug to May is plenty - especially with the irritating midweek evening games and am pretty relaxed about the lack of noos coming out of the club at the moment also.
