Credit where it due 13:29 - Jun 16 with 1900 views | GixerJack | I’m liking the new people at the club so far!!! From the top down there seems to be direction and a structure in place to bring rewards. I know this is football and success isn’t guaranteed because every other club in the division will be busy making their own plans for next season and trying to build a squad that’s able to challenge and ours turns out to be a false dawn, but this feels different somehow. There, now that I’ve pinned my colours get prepared for a relegation scrap 🤦♂️😖
Credit where it due on 13:41 - Jun 16 with 1856 views | Whiterockin | We have had absolute rubbish from the very top down [some failed to accept it] for years that it is so refreshing now to see professionalism back at the club. Early days granted but so often we heard we tried to get this player that player ect bollux and this season we just seem to be getting on and doing the job. Long may it last.

But hopefully now were on the right track and movong ro that "next level" we were told about

Montague is an upgrade on anyone we have had for a while, do you agree.

Montague and Adam Worth the whole set up is a massive upgrade. The club deserves credit since the takeover. No signings are guaranteed to work out but we cant fault them for trying.

I think he deserves a lot of credit, but his handling of pressurised moments as a businessman with little idea of the UK transfer market buying and selling lost him his job.

And he didn't hang around like a bad penny but yes deserves a lot of credit for ridding us of Levein.

Credit where it due on 21:12 - Jun 16 with 1203 views | GVJack | I said it a few weeks back that this has a pre-premier league under Brendan kinda feel to it. I've not been this optimistic since our return to the championship and the transfer window isn't even open yet. Club seems to be doing great business, and my optimism levels have gone from "we could potentially sneak into the playoffs" to "we really could make the playoffs". Genuinely think 2 more signings and that could be elevated to "should make playoffs". We could actually do this!

I’m going to manage my expectations a little more than yourself but I’m ever so slightly nodding in agreement😁

Credit where it due on 12:35 - Jun 17 with 934 views | Boundy | I'm looking forward to the start ,tampered by the fact that we've brought in a few new faces and lost a fair bit of talent with it. If AS can continue what he started last season then who knows what we can achieve but what ever it'll be I'm hopefully its going to be better than some of the dross we've had to put up with recently.

Credit where it due on 19:52 - Jun 17 with 671 views | BarryTownSwam | So all this talk about ‘should, would, could’ make the play offs. Who do our posters feel our main play-off contenders will be? Realistically! I’d say the 3 relegated sides due to financial muscle, so Ipswich, Leicester and Southampton …. The usual suspects - West Brom, Sheff Utd, Middlesbrough …. Then there’s a dark horse from the unfancied pack … And there’s a feeling next years championship will be tougher than this year due to stronger promoted sides (with a bit of financial clout) …. So we’ll need a decent start to cement our early intent on the play-off places

Leicester may have start the season with a heavy points deduction. Sheff Wed are in a mess. I think Birmingham and Wrexham will be the teams to beat. Both have momentum.

Wrexham is an odd one, they are in territory that they are not experienced in. I think they still have Shaun Harvey at the club but not sure if he is involved as he was. They are lacking in the ability to source players compared to the Swans that’s for sure. The money can only go so far, it will be interesting go to see how Jay Stansfield and Alfie May (Birmingham) find the Championship too. On Wrexham I don’t hear too many people singing their praises on the recruitment front. To date it’s been a spend approach, that can’t sustain development of their academy that’s for sure.

Apart from Ryan Hardie who have Wrexham actually signed, they seem to be interested in everyone, but there looks to be a bit of Coleman about them.

They will splash out I’m sure in an attempt to maintain their momentum. But if they do it’s a bit like signing mercenaries. And risky. Their for the money and not the club. It’s a tough league they are in. But the transfer window is a long way off finishing .

Their business model is signing older players, that won't work in the Championship with the intensity and number of games.

Let's see where we are by Christmas. If we're in the top 10, maybe the owners will take a punt and be more active in the January window to give us an improved chance of getting to the promised land. I think we're going to be a very difficult team to beat this season and teams won't enjoy coming to the .com stadium.
