Definitely agree on the height thing. 15-20 years ago it didn’t go unnoticed to me all the senior positions in our department (three or four) were all tall blokes, 6ft at least and two of them very much strutting alpha males.
Maybe cos i’m 5’ 7” it felt that way at least. |  | | |

I literally had this conversation with my daughter and her boyfriend 10mins ago when she said that the average height of a CEO is 6ft.
In a way it is a self fulfilling prophecy as they say that taller people have an air of authority, which lends to people respecting them which breeds confidence which increases the air of authority until it becomes an air of arrogance then everyone hates you. |  |
