Anyone know when Sky decide when our game at Wrexham will be shown?I guess Friday night is favourite for their American fanbase.12.30 on a Saturday would be the middle of the night in Hollywood.

I don't think I've been living under a rock, but maybe, but how can sky say they'll be showing the first home game at 3pm on a Saturday on TV, we still have the 3pm blackout don't we?

I don't quite understand this either but there seems to have been some relaxing of this on key dates like the opening weekend, and the end of the season when they've been showing League Two games in that slot.

It'll obviously be ditched in the next couple of years anyway. Does more harm than good now IMO.

If less than half the games kick off at 3pm, then you can broadcast all matches without restrictions.

I suspect thats why L1/L2 are kicking off a week earlier.

Used to be called Match Of The Day or the The Big Match.

You knew where you stood really Instead of all this Sky nonsense about moving fixtures and pissing everyone about trying to make plans for the future like normal People trying to buy cheaper train tickets and flight tickets.

Never mind eh?

My Father had a profound influence on me, he was a lunatic.

Ah I wasn't aware that happened in League Two, basically the rule applies when they want it to then.

Definitely does more harm than good. It had it's place when people's habits were different and only 1 game was being shown on tv at the weekend but, like everything, it has to move with the times and adapt to its surroundings. Should be repealed asap for the good of all concerned, then sky can broadcast whatever games they like at 3pm on a Saturday and everyone is happy/a winner

1 home 3pm game until November, next one is Ipswich which will probably be moved as well

I think that's one more than last season Dave!

As one of those with a 100 mile+ journey to home games, the 12.30 ko's really pis me off.

The cynic in me thinks they're doing them for a couple of seasons to rack up a load of complaints, then a year or two down the line they'll cut back on them saying "we've listened to the fans", but the trade off will be the ending of the 3pm blackout.

I wonder how many home games will be on at 12.30pm.

My sad prediction is 9 out of 23.

I hate them. Just about woken up by the time get there and same for players. First half is notoriously pedestrian and dull.

Dont go to too many away games now, but big up to you all, who manage to get to them.

The modern game in the modern world !!!

No thank you.....

I don't mind the 12:30 games too much as far me getting to it, but I dislike them because as you say, the 1st halves are often dull, but the worst thing us that the QPR players play as if they had woken up about an hour earlier and haven't been prepared for a match!

I also think agree that this moving of games to broadcast at 12:30 is a ploy to get the blackout ban lifted. Hopefully they will succeed so that we can all go back to 3pm kick-offs that allow fans to schedule their weekends and travel plans etc.

it's due to the number of games being played,if it falls under a certain number at 3pm then the blackout can be ignored

So Sky, in affect, now control the fixture list and KO times for all the EFL?

So home games with Charlton and Stoke added to PNE home game as 12:30kos.

We've got off lightly I suppose. Kind of wanted Wrexham to get moved to deter "tourists and day-trippers". I'm sensing the small allocation (1500?) will sell out sharpish now.

Bit annoying if regulars miss out as we didnt take more than 1200 on any of the 200mile Northern treks last season and in most cases it was 1000 or less.

Wrexham stays where it is. I’m surprised.

Living in Midwest USA its 6 hours difference to London so your 7.45 pm midweek games are at a horrible 1.45pm here and nobody can watch those unless retired ,sick, working from home or on Americas tit .
Hollywood California is another 2 hours behind that so unless its people taking an early lunch break nobody is watching QPR v Wrexham at 11.45 am unless like above or in some cases financially secure which of course the owners are .
3pm games hit the spot for everybody in England and the US just at breakfast time then have a full day after its over

Went to Wrexham away around 2003/2004 when we won 2-0 on a Tue or Wed eve. One of my favourite ever away games. Can't have been much more than 750 of us there, with a tiny home support. How times change
