Let's get giddy for a moment. If Eze goes this window and we end up circa 13M, should we splash out on an actual centre forward? Who should we look at?

Not sure FFP allows that?

Yes. If we’ve done that it’s unbelievably stupid. I also think if we get Eze profit this year, we have to spend this year. No point spending year 2 as the profit will roll off in the 3 year cycle.

Frey, Celar and Kelman backed up by Kolli are good enough. If necessary, Dunne can also play the target man role.

I think Millwall may offload Macaulay Langstaff for less than £750K. He's 28 now, had a very disappointing season there (1 goal in 34) but he is a goal machine and possibly just needs a change of club. A goal scorer is a goal scorer. I think he will come good again and could be a bargain?

Or 10 minutes of Erling Haaland. Bloke seems to have gone down to one goal a game now. Time to find his mojo again?

300 goals in 370 games for Haaland bosh67 I know you are joking but only for some sensational saves against him since he came to City he would have 350 by now.
QPR need a name striker I believe and I would push the boat of cash out to get one (if we have cash of course)
All the posters on here basically agree we are going to be a high intensity attacking side hopefully creating lots of chances and we need those put away to have a great season.
Once we score early and get ahead over the last few years our chances of getting points increased and that was with avarage or zero strikers basically.
Once we fell behind by 1 and dont mention 2 we were done and dusted even with late pushes ,we almost never rescued the points.
Get ahead ,push further ahead, pull some wins back from losing positions and we will be a great team to watch and be competitive then avoiding season killer losing streaks.
Call Brighton again for Ferguson ,he was wasted at West Ham ,wont get playing time at his parent club and is desperate to play with WC qualifying right around the corner

Glad you'tre not overseeing our transfer business. The guy scored some goals for Notts County (tha's right, Notts County,) for a couple of years, then showed the world what he's (not) made of at Millwall in a way that makes Conor Washington look lethal, and you think he could 'come good' at 28! Risible!

Poll: Playoffs?

We have Kelman, who we all hope will kick on here and score freely, especially with players like Dembele, Poku, Chair, Kolli and Madsen etc around him. We have Frey, who we know gives everything when he plays and makes us very direct and we have Celar, who if his leg stays on, I personally think could be a totally different player this season for us.

So we have three strikers who should score goals. It would be nice to get a forth but personally, if you have Kelman and Cellar as your younger forwards and Frey as an older player, why not look at a second slightly more experienced forward to complete the 4?

Never knowingly right.

Give Kelman pre season and the August games and see what he can do. However, if he won't sign a new deal and decent money is offered for him in August, QPR should consider cashing in on him.

As posted on here earlier, Shankland will be available for free next week. Maybe he can be considered.

Shankland at Hearts is avaiable on a freei think... his contract ran out.

Christ no, a striker who's looked the part in the SPL needs to prove he can do it at League Two level first.

Why would Soton sell Edwards and why would he want to come back to us? I simply cannot see any reason for it happening.

I'll tell you why young man. If we decide he fits the project, then Soton will do what they're effing well told and Gorgeous will get on an effing train and bloody well come here because the project effing well told him to!

Is that effing well clear?

And while I'm at it, are there any other players down there you think will fit the project? If so, then they're effing well coming as well.

Now get with the effing project!
