Because we are constantly looking to America and seem to think if it works there then it’s the standard. It’s not. We are not American in the way we think and have a far different attitude. More reserved, more feet on the ground I’d say.

Without being disrespectful to American sports, as I only understand them on a very superficial level, I’d say it’s because our actual sport is a much better product than any of theirs. I’d say the same about rugby.
It doesn’t need to rely on razzmatazz to prop it up. Global audiences seem to demand that though.

I believe that FIFA is a totally corrupt organisation. My belief is that the likes of Infantino are no different to Blatter or Havelange and that the same people that voted them in are voting in Infantino. I may be a cynic but I believe that in the multi million pound business that of international football that there are a lot of kickbacks, brown envelopes or dogs with healthy bank accounts.

That's interesting actually because we all know this type of thing happens, there is nothing more corrupt than big business and of course, politics.
DAZN, their CEO is Shay Segev who is Israeli, they are owned by an ethnic Russian (born in Ukraine) and the business is registered in England. All th internnational arguments fade away when the big bucks are around. | | | |
