I can see them offering favourable tax rates to attract corporations to base themselves there, but I can't see the EU being happy with them spending 30 years scrounging for handouts from richer neighbours. | |

Given that Argentina has stumbled from one economic catastrophe to another for generations this one seems fairly tame by comparison, and even the BBC suggest that the market upset is more over investor uncertainty about whether or not Milei will continue in power rather than his reforms.
