Come on England. on 21:32 - Jun 28 with 1163 views | BazzaInTheLoft | For those excited about the prospect of two up front for QPR this season, it looks like both these teams have lined up 442. Maybe the age of Pep is coming to an end.
Come on England. on 21:55 - Jun 28 with 1059 views | bosh67 | Going to extra time. I think England needed to really go for it in injury time and Germany very nearly won it with the last kick back off the cross bar but an incredible tackle just before that denying a certain goal in the build up.

Come on England. on 22:53 - Jun 28 with 824 views | sdm1508 | Personally think he should have been kept on and given time with the senior side. Why we've suddenly decided now we have to win the world Cup which means any manager isn't looking to develop the team or players within the whole system
Come on England. on 23:09 - Jun 28 with 776 views | bosh67 | Surely Carsley should be in line for a Knighthood at some point? Back to back major trophy wins for the guy. Should be recognised with something.

I think he’s timed it excellently. Lots of fans (rightly or wrongly) were sick of Southgate, and became a bit complacent about getting past semi finals. I have my own theory about why that is but I’ll keep it to myself. Tuchel is a class manager but something doesn’t feel right so far. Carsley has the opportunity to wrack up the trophies while we go through a period of reality checking then he can take over in the 2030s when England go out to Mozambique in the second round when expectations are at a all time low again like Southgate did after Iceland.

Hopefully a lot of these u21 players will progress to the senior team, so I'd really like Carsley to make the step up too at some point in the future. Was almost a classic England performance, should have been 3 or 4 up by half time but missed some very good chances, McAtee in particular could have had a hattrick. Germany inevitably got back into it, hit the bar twice but fortunately luck was on our side for once. Shame that Ronnie Edwards didn't get any game time, but he can be happy with winning the Best Hair of the Tournament trophy.
