D-Day for the Owls on 13:30 - Jun 30 with 3893 views | raynor94 | It's the non playing staff who I feel sorry for, who have mortgages and bills to pay They are a basket case of a club and an owner like that should be nowhere near football

Class championship player but as you say hull will be his favoured destination.

Decent championship level & career goal scoring record (1 in 4) as an attacking midfielder and would add experience at the top end of the pitch so I wouldn’t be adverse to him although would have thought Hull would his obvious shout for what might be his last meaningful contract.

Who does Hull have at Windass's preferred position? Could be that Hull have what they need for that position (attacking CM?). We have several who can play it - Cullen, Eom, Cooper. Isn't that Widell's preferred position? | | | | Login to get fewer ads
D-Day for the Owls on 20:28 - Jul 1 with 2809 views | Martyn | Seems Weds still have 2 weeks to pay the players. They can hand their notices in but if they are paid in the 1st 14 days of July their contracts will be valid again

They can't sign anyone, not allowed to register new players, coaches are out of contract and the manager is probably leaving. It's all very bleak for the hoots. Gotta feel sorry for the fans

If the owner is looking for the out and he’s no5 happy with what’s being offered, whatever Sheffield Wednesday’s value is now, once the players can walk it’ll be even lower. Would they be better off entering administration for unpaid debts which would enable a “white knight” to buy them off the receiver?

Perhaps you can explain this theory and enlighten us? I remember another poster suggesting Levien's ownership a waste a "ponzi scheme" He is a good poster but in this case had no idea what it meant. Levien and co may indeed have run a " hedge fund" and this is toxic term in unsophisticated football fans. The reason Hedge fund had a bad reputation was because they are unregulated. If any one make and investment check it is FCA regulated. I will have to read up on how money laundering works. I doubt SWFC are involved in this but what do I know. Jamal Lowe would be a possible for Swansea. He played his best football here and good legs for the last 15 mins. Two good finishes during the "Doube". (Double double) [Post edited 9 Jul 17:32]

You never get your facts right Jamal Lowe didnt play under Rusty Martin he was sold to AFC Bournmouth in August 2021 so he was not involved with the doube doube

Didn't he come back on loan in 23/24 and score but not in the double, double years. [Post edited 9 Jul 21:38]

He did return on loan in the 2023/24 season under Duff he made a total of 2 appearances and scored 1 goal ..in the EFL cup....but definitely not here during the doube doube period.
