Just looked at the squad profiles on the official site, to check whether Tall Paul has actually left, it is still not really been officially confirmed by the club, just that terms had been agreed and wishing him well.
Some of the football websites say he is still a Saints players, others that he is now a Trabzonspor player, I have been away so not sure what I have and havent missed.
Both Onuachu & Sulemana are no longer showing
But it is also interesting to see who is on the updated squad list, Gavin Bazunu, Shea Charles, who were out on loan are now shown on the squad profiles, whereas Adam Armstrong Ben Brereton Diaz, Ronnie Edwards & Sam Edozie are not showing.
Nor is Sam Amo-Ameyaw whose permanent deal to Strasbourg was seemingly excercised on 26th June, but ive not seen anything official about this.

Yes, what we can read into this is that the club is sh*t at communicating with fans. There is no reason not to communicate when deals are finalised or contracts are extended but there have been several instances of both over the last few years.

Think the club do all the updated profiles all in one day quite close to the start of the season, so that will be why they're slow to update them.
I wouldn't bother trying to read anything into it. |  |

Yes, what we can read into this is that the club is sh*t at communicating with fans. There is no reason not to communicate when deals are finalised or contracts are extended but there have been several instances of both over the last few years.
It's clear that this squad list doesn't mean much (e.g. Larios is included but they've said he's gone, Trollope is not included in staff) but even if the absence of players from the list means nothing, it's still sh*t communication. |
Strange how they're not shit at communicating with the fans when they want the season ticket money.

Sorry to hijack this thread but on a similar note I saw a Facebook post the other night that stated that Mateus Fernandes had posted a 'farewell' message to Saints fans as he is seeking a new club. I'm sure I didn't dream this but can no longer find the original post, nor can I find any news story on the web to back this up.

Yes I did see this and it was very misleading. I actually thought he was off too but it turns out Fernandes was saying farewell to his mate Larios . 🤷♂️ |  |
