When you have a massive majority your own party becomes the opposition and they’ve filled the benches with the biggest left wing looneys known to man. I’m not usually one to defend Starmer I think the guy is an absolute bona fide moron and probably our worst ever PM but he also doesn’t have much to work with.

Showboating leftists need booting out for creating disunity which is something UK voters will not accept.

Disability claims have doubled since Covid. Many seem to be about mental health. There is work for people with such problems and it helps them. Gardening cleaning cooking security farm work. etc.

Dear god

You got no sense whatsoever have you are totally devoid of any, you have no idea of what you are talking about you have singled out people with mental health and belittling them, you are aa absolute disgrace.

And if you have posted that to seek attention you are even worse. Just go away go back to Turkey if they'll have you if not the North Korea would suit you!

Not quite doubled, but the figures are extremely worrying and the future projections of cost look financially unsustainable. Worth reading the first IFS report at the link in full and examining the graphs. The UK seems to be an international outlier. One point of concern is that the main area in which morbidity has risen is mental health, and where mortality has risen this usually concerns "deaths of despair" (see 2nd report). So one might say that the nature of disability as reflected in benefit claims is changing.

"These increases mean that in England and Wales, 3.9 million working-age adults – 10.0% – now claim either incapacity or disability benefits (2.9 million – 7.6% – get incapacity benefits; 2.7 million – 7.0% – get disability benefits; just under half of claimants of health-related benefits get both).3 Prior to the pandemic, 2.8 million got at least one of these benefits (7.5% of working-age adults)." This post alone should receive a severe warning as a minimum. There some on here who openly speak of personal issues and we all try to help as we can.

This really is just not good enough, he is just trying to see how far he can push and for me this is too far.

He's no right wing poster but if he were then so what
Because you are left wing means you are no better than any right wing
It means you view life differently
You see matters only from one side
Best to step into the shoes of others and view matters from that perspective
Personally I M offended by many left wing views like those celebrating deaths of Thatcher and Tebbit
Thatcher is just as bad

The term mental health is often misused which means those with genuine issues get tarred with the same brush , the same brush that Res uses .

He has posted far greater whoppers though
