In the USA for the big games they love to have celebrities at the game. I can remember watching an inter Miami game with the likes of prince harry , will Ferrell and a load of other famous faces there.
Any exposure we get is fantastic. Let’s hope this is just the start. I have heard figures of £25 mil being banded about . Wouldn’t that basically be 2 years of operating losses? That would shake up how much we could afford to spend surely

I really can't understand why people don't realise our owners have more money than we can possibly spend under PSR. Modric and SD are only profile lifters on social media. More exposure means better comercial income, which increases turnover enabling us to spend more. Simple really.

Doug Sharpe was abused regularly for not spending hundreds of thousands of pounds on players every season at a time when the club was pulling in 3,500 supporters per game with commercial income that was barely worth mentioning.
If we as supporters want to see investment in the squad then that money has to come from somewhere.

Eventually the market will saturate so you're right, it's smart that we're getting in early. Who we choose to get involved is also massively important.
There are few football figures more respected than Modric. Snoop Dogg is a well liked, popular figure too (and he's been married for nearly 30 years to the same woman and has four kids so I suspect a lot of his public image is for show).
I jokingly said on Twitter that we'd be lining up Dwayne Johnson next but I certainly wouldn't rule out someone else of that stature getting involved in the same way.
