In this case it’s because he’s a local candidate, he cares, he’s been very visible in the community , identified issues during his campaign which he addressed and run a good campaign.

Be interesting to see what happens come next May, I've no idea on what the outcome will be, but let's hope Labour get shown the door and lets hope Reform don't get anywhere near the Senedd either.
It's probably Plaids best ever chance, not sure they are up to it though.

Quote from the article in the original post. Ignore or deny as much as you like but it is happening.

"In June, pollster YouGov has asked people across the UK how they would vote in a general election, and in Wales it shows Reform would take 21 of the 32 seats in Wales."

I certainly won't vote Labour again, but Reform and Plaid is a choice between a rock and a hard place

You give it out, you take it back it`s all part of the game

Vote plaid and you'll get the same ideology as labour. Been labour's crutch in the sennedd. There will be absolutely no difference.

This is exactly the opinion of many in Wales and what is holding me back at the moment.

Plaid are even madder than Labour TBH.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

if plaid hadn't been so desperate over the past decade to have some grip n power and were happy to collude with Labour despite knowing that labours ideology was keeping Wales as a backwater then right now they'd be in contention for my vote but now no , I'm not coming Reform whether have the nous to improve the lives of the people of Wales but what other choice do we have , undecided.

I’m decided on one thing. Not to vote Plaid.

I think Labour returning would be better and that option stinks to high heaven.

It’s Reform for me but only out of it being the best if a bad bunch.

Best of abad bunch, that's not true though nobody knows what to expect from reform, they could the best or the worst, I'm of the opinion that they'll be worse.

No leader in Wales, no policies (can't wait for the manifesto) and Farage keeps making promises we know they can't keep/

I don't see how anyone can vote for them, specially anyone who'd never vote tory.

I will admit I agreed with a few things Farage said on Kuennsberg at the weekend. The water company thing is a national disgrace. People can, will and have made excuses but it's been nothing else than politicians looking after mates and giving them a vehicle to make a lot of money.

Plaid would be even more woke than Labour - infuriatingly detached from reality. I do not see Reform as the long-term future, butt there has got to be an exemplary shock to bring the other parties back to sane policies, and voting Reform is the only way to achieve that shock. The present bunch in power have stitched things up with their Senedd reforms so that Independents are not the answer.
