Parking on White City estate 09:56 - Jul 30 with 1633 views | drumapella | Hello, long-time listener first-time caller etc. Not here to boost Christian Nourry, although of course have very fond memories of Bobby Z in 89. Planning to drive and park on the estate for first time in years for the Preston game. Can anyone please advise how much it costs and how long it takes to get out? My youthful memories of parking here involve waiting forever for roads to re-open afterwards. Cheers.

In what sense? Limited space or the hassle afterwards? Planning to arrive very early and with someone whose mobility is limited, so hoping for as short a walk as possible. Thanks.

If its possible drop the person off and leave the car on the Wormholt estate over the road. There should be free parking there and it avoids the closed roads meaning you can get out earlier. *note* don't leave anything valuable out on display though, it used to be rife for getting your stereo nicked

Parking on White City estate on 10:27 - Jul 30 with 1453 views | ChrisNW6 | It used to cost me about £5 for 2hrs parking on the estate. I think it now is based on the engine type and size. Below is what I think it is now Parking charges for on-street pay and display bays RingGo pay-by-phone/e-parking payments: Band 1 (0g/km CO2) - £2.80 per hourBand 2 (1-75g/km CO2) - £2.80 per hourBand 3 (76-120g/km CO2) - £4.00 per hourBand 4 (120-150g/km CO2) - £4.50per hourBand 5 (151-186g/km CO2) - £5.50 per hourBand 6 (186-225g/km CO2) - £6.00 per hourBand 7 (225+g/km CO2) - £7 per hour A diesel surcharge of £1 per hour will be applied to diesel vehicles in any of the above bands due to the extremely negative impact of diesel vehicles on air quality.

Both. I might be wrong, but I think the club can help you with parking if you contact them in advance re mobility issues. At least they used to. I‘d imagine a few residents would rent their space on https://www.parkopedia.com/

I'm old enough to remember cycling to Brentford and you could leave your bike in someone's passage for threepence. And if you had threepence left you could buy a pint in the Bricklayers.
Parking on White City estate on 11:26 - Jul 30 with 1252 views | mart_Goblin | Sawley Road, Dunraven Road, Collingbourne Road, Adelaide Grove are all a 5 minute walk or less away depending on the individual of course . I park here for every match and depending what time you get there there is plenty of parking . Would advise getting there before 12.30pm (for 3pm KO for example ) to get the nearest spots though. Not sure if that helps . | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Parking on White City estate on 11:44 - Jul 30 with 1188 views | Paddyhoops | I park near little wormwood scrubs. It’s about a mile from the ground. Free after 1.30 on a Saturday. Pavilion pub is quite close. Very handy.
Parking on White City estate on 12:47 - Jul 30 with 1030 views | Watford_Ranger | When I have to drive I go for Conningham Road or around there, the other side of Uxbridge Road. Free on Saturdays unless you’re very close to Uxbridge Road and generally quicker to get away.
Parking on White City estate on 13:23 - Jul 30 with 925 views | ak68 | The Uxbridge Rd end of Devonport Rd has recently become residents only parking with no exemptions or ability to buy a ticket. It’s put more pressure on the nearby streets. It’s also one way with a camera monitoring where it turns into Thornfield. There is still parking available in Thornfield with RingGo. The streets west of Bloemfontein Rd are a better bet.

I do not recommend offering threepence to access someone's passage these days,

When you're SatNav says there's 2 miles to go but that'll take another 70mins it's not broken - it's being optimistic!
