For those who like a Glass of Red.. I salute you 18:41 - Jul 30 with 1246 views | Togg | Just finished a bottle of Espartero Rioja Reserva 2018 from Asda. 🍷 Very good indeed. Obviously with a bit of nosh. I know the Spanish wine snobs will extoll the virtues of a Ribera del Duero . Sorry not for me, it's Rioja every time. Any red winos on the forum have any recommendations for decent reds from anywhere in the world. .

It's a nice wine, although I prefer Yellow Tails Reds and they are cheaper, Crimes 19 wines aren't worth the extra cost in my humble opinion. Much rather a glass or two of red at home instead of a beer, need to find a few different reds from other producers though. [Post edited 30 Jul 19:24]

I’ve yet to have a bad red but I’m a sucker for Australian black reds. They’re very competitive price wise…and I promise I don’t work for them!

Sainos used to do a marvellous own label Corbieres but have replaced it with a Languedoc Red in the Taste the Diff range. I'll spare you the effort - don't bother the new one is poor, in that it's not a bad wine but is not the previous incarnation.. By way of substitution the Taste the Diff Cahors is awesome for old vines Malbec lovers and on offer with a Nectar card for ÂŁ7.50... Fill your boots.
