Them tomorrow Roll call....and match thread.... on 11:02 - Aug 3 with 842 views | Northernr | It's probably been said already but for me, fck me, the size of them. This is what my Ipswich mates said about the Premier League, they just couldn't believe the size and the physicality and the athleticism of that league now. That looked like Space Jam yesterday with us taking on the MonStars with Bill Mur5ray and Bugs Bunny.

I thought that. Their CBs...just wasn't a fair fight against Chair.

It was actually quite a funny watch, in an utterly humiliating way.

Tweeted asking "whether he should go back?" to his followers before deleting it, from what I've read. I don't have twitter so that's second hand, mind.

Yeh it was in Portuguese after the Cardiff friendly and the translation was like "shall I come back or shall I come home" or something like that. Swiftly removed.

The result of the club not sorting things out earlier including the nonsense over MC and the delay in getting JS in to replace him (all that fuss over a £.5m compensation). Had JS been in place in June, he could have sorted out deals to leave for the likes of Kelman, Celar and bought in replacements to feature in pre season. Now we go into the opening game seemingly without a fit centre forward and possibly with Chair or Dembele farcially leading the attack. I chose not to attend yesterday partially because the role reversal of the two clubs, but also the lack of strikers meant it would be a struggle to even create chances let alone score goals.

I went to Brentford v Brighton last season and Collins spent the entire afternoon mullering Danny Welbeck (no lightweight himself). They ended up taking him off and throwing Lewis Dunk up front to win a few headers (he didn't). When we started banging high balls in I just put my head in my hands. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Them tomorrow Roll call....and match thread.... on 17:03 - Aug 2 by loftupper | Awful game, scheduling Brentford as the last friendly is probably the worst decision the management team at the club have made for a while (since not divulging contract lengths..). Fans had no interest in it and it hasn’t set us up at all for next week. We don’t appear to have a first 11 yet, feels like it’s going to take us 10 games or so to get up and running. |
Yep, the match was a decision made by people who have zero understanding of our club. The ground was empty, it gave their cringe fans the opportunity to come and crow in our backyard, and the game achieved nothing of value for us other than we only lost 0-1. Pisspoor.

Nourry is in charge of recruitment not the head coach. I'm sure Nourry would consult Stephan now, but he would have and could have recruited players the minute the window opened.
