I see Calum Slattery a main player for Motherwell. Good for him!

He’s played well for them this evening.

Rangers fans weren't too keen on the result! And RM not too keen on some of his players and needs some new players apparently as some don't want to be there

'Problems are down to mentality'

FT: Motherwell 1-1 Rangers

More from Rangers head coach Russell Martin: "We didn’t run enough, we didn’t fight enough, we weren’t brave enough."

Poll: Les Reed in or out?

Slack Jack, Smallbone, Manning & Aribo (£70k p/w off the wage bill alone) are definately the answer, I can hire the minibus and drive them up there, I’ll even get a nice one with tables and a loo on board. 🙂

Seem to be issues already for Russell, obviously nothing to do with his tactics

Doesn't bode well for RM, if you start criticising the team publicly after one game !

I give him to xmas.

From the Guardian report:

"Both sides were intent on playing out from the back and there were numerous turnovers but little in the way of goalmouth action..."

His usual post match excuses. He blamed the players than said, "I'm not criticising the players."

He's an awful manager who's built a lucrative career out of breaking a passing stats record in a League One game his MK Dons team lost.

"On 2 March 2021, Martin's side scored after a 56-pass move, a new British record at the time.At the culmination of the 2020–21 season, only Manchester City and Barcelona had a higher average possession percentage in Europe than Martin's MK Dons"

What clubs that employ him seem to ignore is his teams' results. MK Dons finished 13th in League One that season.

62% of the possession.

Is that all? He'll have to improve on that for the next game

As I remember, Saints had over 70% possession against Sunderland,
and we lost 5-0.
We were brave though.
