Swansea has its first Reform councillor on 19:09 - Aug 18 with 308 views | SullutaCreturned | She defected from the tories. There should be an election now. These defections shouldn't be allowed without a vote to give or refure her a mandate. Looking around, Reform are making headway but with very few actual policies but lots of soundbites. They have also made promises in Wales they can never keep. It's worrying that so many seem certain to vote for them, not because of policies but just because Tory and Labour have been so useless. The political spectrum is shifting to the right, it's a protest party people are choosing when they go for Farage. My opinion, if we actually put reform in charge then it will make Boris Johnson look like the best leader this country has ever seen. He'll be Trump's puppet, his shadow like a faithful dog wagging his tail at his beloved master.

and isn't there enough t protest about. Maybe just maybe people of this country have had a bellyful of the lies, deceit, ineptitude, incompetence to make them turn from the usual suspects ,atm the UK is not a happy place to live and the thought of either Labour continuing in power or the Tories regaining it in the future is a frightening prospect. Something has to change and maybe Reform can be the party to be the one to give the establishment the much needed kick up the Aras it deserves.

Francesca O’Brien, who is standing in a key marginal seat in South Wales, apologised for the comments and said they had been made ‘off the cuff’. She was referring to the Channel 4 reality TV series highlighting people on benefits when she wrote on Facebook in January 2014: ‘Benefit Street..anyone else watching this?? Wow, these people are unreal!!!’ Replying to a friend’s comment, she added: ‘My blood is boiling, these people need putting down.’ https://metro.co.uk/2019/11/03/tory-candidate-wrote-people-benefits-street-need-

But you can buy a football shirt to show support: You just have to ignore the Union Jack being upside down. And the white flag where an enormous fuss was made when the England football team did it. And the whole keeping football out of politics thing. [Post edited 19 Aug 9:04]
