I presume you are referring to so called “ boat people “ ? In which case I think you will find that they are not illegal immigrants nor for that matter refugees. When they arrive in this country the correct name for them is asylum seekers and they are protected by International Law.
Out of interest, why do you get so wound up about boat people when I believe the last available figures ( 2023 ) show that for every one boat person who’s request for asylum was granted thirteen other people entered the country legally ?

It’s not a left right thing. Lots of people across the political divide are concerned about immigration.
They don’t all feel the need to go outside hotels holding people, including children who have suffered traumatic experiences ,and intimidate them. You can wave your flags as much as you like.
