Probably BS but theres a few people on X talking about Chair being injured. Have I missed something? Hope it’s wrong

Poll: Where will we finish up next season?

What sort of 10 is Chair, is the question. Although he sometimes delivers a deep cross into the box I'm not sure he is the sort to thread a ball into players making runs. I always saw him as a player who created a bit of space with the little bit of acceleration and dribbling skill. My worry is that little bit of acceleration has gone. If he is out injured I would like to see Vale there. When he has played he has been intelligent with how he finds space. Seems to pick the right type of pass for the situation (as in first time ball) to take advantage of the space being created and seems he can pick a pass

Unsure what type of 10 he is but he’s changed his hair and he’s well ’fit’ in this picture

Those possessed by devils, try and keep them under control a bit, can't you ?

I don’t think he’s playing ‘10’ in the strictest sense á la Taarabt. He’s more involved in his own half than that and has the freedom to move and be difficult to mark when we have the ball in the opposing half (it happens now and again). It requires a midfield behind him capable of winning the ball and moving it up the pitch (not you Nicolas) and a striker who can either make those runs or, in Kone’s case, be a serious option in the box when he does put the ball in at the right time which I’m convinced he’s more than capable of with the right team around him. I don’t think he trusts all the players around him and he’s probably right. When Kolli was to his left you can see he has the faith to move it on in a way he doesn’t with Smyth, for example. Maybe that’s wrong, maybe it’s intelligent.

Hes been poor so far and doesn't look fit. Give vale a.go at no 10. Chair flatters to deceive too much.

Just how drunk do you get by kick off time? Without the help of stats, he is the fittest player we have.

The grass is always greener.

Barry Bannan type 10 maybe. Not there yet but these things take time 🙏

One conspiracy theory I've never bought into for Chair's delayed delivery & not playing the early pass is his team mates aren't at his level & not trusting them,

Unfortunately if your muscle memory is hard wired to look at your feet when you receive the ball, you'll never be that head up early passer like Eze, and that's the difference between £3m & £60m,

A failure in our coaching & playing development imo.

He looks up often enough to lash it in the far corner quite regularly. He does also miss occasionally, so must have his head down for those.

How many goals last season?

How many substantial offers have we received for him over the last 7 years?

A serious inherent flaw in his game that our Coaching Staff should have long eradicated.

That's what some on here want, so we'll see how we fare in his absence. How many will be as brave as he always is to find space and always show for the ball, even coming deep to achieve that and ensure that we have some semblance of link-up play and meaningful possession.

I sincerely hope that he isn't being sold.

Well some may not want him in the team (I’m not one of them) but no qpr fan wants him not in the squad due to injury

At some stage, someone at QPR will realise using live ammo in training is fundamentally flawed!

No Chair is very good news for Madsen because he’ll get the nod and he is infinitely better further forward as a 10

If he plays I expect him to have a good game there

In fact it’s his only position, centre mid for Madsen is a total no no

I don't know. I think we can all come up with a few names we'd like to see face a firing squad!

I disagree that Madsen is a better 10 than Chair but I think it's academic as today looks like a 433 so without a no 10. Frankly I wouldn't want to see Madsen on the pitch in this game.

Sorry certainly not saying Madsen is better than Chair

Saying Madsen is much improved when he plays at a 10 rather than in centre mid

Ah, fair enough and I'd certainly agree with you there.
