The media reports are saying he will have a medical at Everton or Palace are going to try and hijack the deal, so I assume we won't see him this afternoon

Stoke were there for the taking today, especially when they went down to 10 men.

2 crazy errors for their goals. Flyn Downs (I think) losing the ball in middle of park to gift them the first. The defending and positional play for their second following a massive throw by Johansson, was comical. Not sure how much Bazunu was to blame, need to see it again.

Poor finishing again cost us. Robinson hit post twice. Downs and Stewart both missed absolute sitters. It was harder to miss.

Armstrong , D. Downs and Stewart were anonymous.

We got the ball wide but slipped back into old habits, going down the flanks and then stopping and playing it back.

On a positive note (hopefully), Fernandes started and played whole game. Is that a sign he could be staying ?

Let’s face it we have been poor in every game this season

Yes
Poor against Wrexham, extremely lucky not to have lost that even more extremely lucky to have won that one.
Poor against Northampton,a league 1 side who we scraped a 1-0 win.
Fortunate to get a draw at Ipswich.
Deserved to be beaten by Stoke.
We don't appear to have a forward line.
I dread to think this side will play Pompey.

That there is what happens when you recruit nothing but sh*t.

Downs is the new Mara - only worse. The lad is shocking.

How long now have we needed a good, proper striker?

I have zero... nil... no confidence whatsoever in us spending money on very good acquisitions in what remains of the transfer window. The Dibling money will be spunked on mediocre garbage & foreigners that play in a schmuck league & will be schmuck here. We will panic buy in the last 24/48 hours - and if we keep Fernandes after today, I will be gobsmacked.

Honestly, supporting Saints just isn't fun or exciting under these owners whatsoever.

Absolutely.
Thought things might change for the better.
Beaten by ten men.

We've got the highest percentage filled capacity in the entire football league. We obviously need a bigger stadium, and we certainly wouldn't be leaving 3,500 seats unattended. FACT

I heard Sport Republic were hoping to add Pompey to their ever expanding success story.

Is D Downs a football player? Shocking can't trap a ball, lost every ball played into him, can't pass, can't shoot, Cant see the point of having him on the pitch.

How many times did manning not take on the full back?
How sh!t was Downes for the opener?
Why wait 10 minutes to change from 3 centre backs v 10 men, absolute pile of sh!t from manager and players.
Oh Armstrong through the middle doesn’t work, everyone but Will can see that.

He's never played in England before. He's never played at a level as high as this. He's very young and none of the PL clubs wanted him. Is it not logical from the off, that he probably wouldn't be good enough? We have spent nearly 30 million on Downes and Quasie. Both young players who arn't good enough, not ready, not up to it. It's the Sport Repiblic way. Buy young, hoping they get good to make a profit. It's flawed.

I said it the day we bought Downes. Inexperienced l, too young, never played at this.level = another huge waste of money.

He's terrible. I said this when we bought the inexperienced, still in his teens, never played in England before, 6 goals in a league much weaker than the championship. As you say it's Sport Republic up their tricks again.

Stated........."We've got the highest percentage filled capacity in the entire football league"

Yes, thats correct, and the PL isn't included. I have just shown you a link that made it easier for you, but i didn't realise that you would fail at the first hurdle.

Here is another link. If you can engage your brain, you can also compare to Leagues 1 and 2 just to make sure.

Oooh, a rude word from the site neanderthal. Looks like he is having a little meltdown.

3.5k missing today is quite shocking from a club with many fans who keep saying how big they are. And its only the second game in. How far will it drop?

How many empty spaces did you have in the 70’s and 80’s with your average 8,000 crowds.🤣🤣
I guess your fans just couldnt be bothered which is a bit weird considering you tell us how passionate you lot are about your club.

The fact that Stoke could have filled a couple of taxis with their support tells you what you need to know . Of course we just have to bow down to your incredible support which dwarfs ours in terms of numbers year in year out.

Well, you've got the big stadium. I'm sure there were plenty of opportunities to move the Stoke fans into a smaller space, but it looks like your club or more probably your fans are getting a bit bored.

You can only fill the space you have, and we have the highest perecentage filled capacity in the football league at 98.5%. Your club are down to 92.5%. No excuses, and no real point harping on about the 70's and 80's is there ?

Up at 5.42am editing your post. Hilarious. Attendances are just soooooo important.

Because that particular site shows you the whole picture for last seasons complete set of fixtures, and you don't have to click any buttons to get the correct order!!!!! 52-1 to me now.

And I know you struggle with comprehension and understanding numbers and calculations, so I made it easier for you.

I notice with the new season, that your club has already dropped a significant 2.8%, whereas our figure has gone up. I wonder how low your figure will go?
