Celar 12:04 - Aug 25 with 4990 views | alexferguson60 | According to West London Sport 3 clubs are in for Celar, although no deal has been done. The bidding must be on who QPR can pay more to get him out the door in a reverse bidding war.....

Celar on 16:08 - Aug 25 with 2912 views | rbee | Be interesting to see if he stays fit there. I would assume that we are still paying some of his salary but there is still a cost saving there.
Celar on 16:12 - Aug 25 with 2831 views | Markofthegrove | Likely another 2.5 million down the swanny. Along with the 3.5 million quid hit we will probably take on Madsen. Wonder if Andy Belk will get another promotion.
Celar on 16:18 - Aug 25 with 2753 views | BrianMcCarthy | No transfer fee. Wonder how long is left on his contract? Because that will decide whether we get anything next year.

Pray he's injured for the season so they don't see how awful he is

Celar on 19:40 - Aug 25 with 2354 views | OakR | Hopefully he has a great season, we recoup some of the transfer fee, some some wages this year, maybe we got a loan fee as well? Either way best all round for him to move, Kone is No1, expect Frey to be ahead of him also when fit. Shame he got injured when he did, but never really showed much, maybe the wrong league for him style of play, or just not good enough.

Celar on 00:58 - Aug 26 with 1842 views | Hoopsie | Just hope he starts to score some goals in Germany And we can recoup some money when we move him on permanently Unfortunately how this turned out, I was actually quite thrill when he joined thinking we got ourselves a decent striker Never scored for his country before he joined, and till now - 17 games, should have known better

Celar on 01:06 - Aug 26 with 1808 views | SydneyRs | Likely to be far more suited to the German league, so hopefully does well so we can get a fee for him. I suspect he hadn't settled in London either which would not have been helped by getting a season ending injury just after scoring a couple of goals.

Hope he starts banging them in over there and we get some money out of it. No hard feelings as far as I’m concerned just didn’t work out.

Celar on 02:11 - Aug 26 with 1724 views | VancouverHoop | Fortuna Dusseldorf are currently in the German Second division. They're a biggish club on a slide. From their perspective I'm guessing this is a bit of a desperation loan.

Conversely, he scored 51 in 116 in all competitions for Lugano in the Swiss League. It isn't like he's some kind of fraud who wondered into professional football by mistake, but he looks completely wrong for the Championship. Similar to Madsen. I just scanned Fortuna Dusseldorf's squad list and Celar will be lining up with Jordy De Wijs. Perhaps they can bond over shared past trauma.

F95 are my German team and I have been following their ups and downs over the last 20 years or so. They are very much like QPR in that they flirt with irregular appearances in the top flight before finding their level in the second tier. Hope he does well there as they need to get away from the bottom of the table.

This, I bear him (or Madsen) no ill-will really, he's obviously done well elsewhere, and I'm sure he's been as frustrated with his time here as anyone. What I find remarkable is how a player so clearly ill-suited to (sigh) the game model was signed in the first place.

The (sigh) game model indeed FDC. If the past two seasons taught us anything, it was that sometimes you have to be pragmatic in football. Cifuentes twice found it necessary to change tactics to a more direct approach and as a result kept us up. Will Stephan have to make that switch again this season? Quite likely. It's all very well having football 'principles' but if you're too high minded you're no earthly good.

Kevin Gallen nailed it on the WLS podcast. Said loads of other teams had (a) been drawn to his stats (b) gone to see him (c) run a mile.

That was Madsen wasn't it? But yeah, same applies
Celar on 08:49 - Aug 26 with 945 views | gazza1 | I find it quite unbelievable that anyone wants to sign him, let alone 3 clubs!!! He was soooo poor.

Someone on here made a point recently that I've been thinking about, about how the further removed you are from the application of the principles you hold, the more those principles can become abstractions that lack real-world application - or words to that effect. I'm definitely not opposed to the club having a coherent philosophy that endures beyond the life-span of a manager - it's what I've wanted at QPR since the disasters of the Briatore-managerial-conveyor-belt years. And there will inevitably always be tensions between manager and club over this. But there has to be a way for the on-the-ground football staff (e.g. coaching staff) to feed in to this, and for there to be some flexibility without it becoming an impasse as appears to have been the case with Cifuentes. Some of this is likely to be to do with personality and ego, which could well be part of the problem for QPR currently. [Post edited 26 Aug 9:10]
