Esquadina’s shooting 18:09 - Aug 31 with 5226 views | enfieldargh | I think at least 4 times he’s tried a blockbuster from well outside the area, apart from one at Cov which went way wide they all look pretty much on target but as from distance there’s more chance of it hitting a defender Cant wait for when they smash into the back of the net Like what I’ve seen so far from him and he looks like he is starting to develop physically. Saw him at the tiger feet walk last April and he looked like a 15 year old schoolboy I wonder how he was spotted as he only played a handful of senior games in Brazil.

Esquadina’s shooting on 18:53 - Aug 31 with 3859 views | numptydumpty | He is brazilian. One day these pot shots are going to be blockbusters with swerve, power and panache and they are going to smash crossbar, posts and destroy the back of the net at the speed of light and thunder. Thats what i dreamt last night - i believe. And yes, i am a seriously sad individual !!!

Until then, expect some late entries to the 'Have you ever caught a ball' thread. Something about a 19 year old pup prepared to pull the trigger to be encouraged.

Some chance. Half the board couldn’t spell Andersen and at least a third think we have an Indian cricketer in the squad. At least people are having a go. It's an upgrade on ‘the Brazilian lad’. Although it would be quite funny if we referred to all the players in a similar way. We’d have the Japanese lad, the lad from Burton, the Red Stripe lad, the Belgian-Moroccan fellah, the old Swiss bloke, Irish coffee geezer, the Norn, the lad from Spuds etc. Clive should do a match report entirely in that lingua franca.

I quite like the sound of Duracell Burrell! Certainly apt given his style of play
Esquadina’s shooting on 06:01 - Sep 3 with 2050 views | Rsole | Rather than kicking the ball into touch (twice) from kick off, maybe we can pass it to him to shoot from just inside our half ? It would be more entertaining AND get us up the pitch. Surprise/scare a few people too.

There’s a book I’m reading at the moment called “Season” which is about life and the highs and lows of supporting a football team throughout a single campaign. Instead of using player’s names the author George Harrison (not that one) calls them by nationality, the Argentinian, the Norwegian, the Dutchman, etc. It‘s a fairly sedate easy going read so far. Anyway back to Eat-ya-dinners shooting. More please and preferably into the goal next time.

My recently departed Dad spent his entire QPR supporting life never quite getting the names of any of our players quite right when he spoke of them. He would have appreciated a checklist such as this. Thank you [Post edited 3 Sep 8:43]

He'll earn his correct spelling when he's on target. Until then he's Esquiddydinner and he'll like it.
| Stefan Moore, Stefan Moore running down the wing. Stefan Moore, Stefan Moore running down the wing. He runs like a cheetah, his crosses couldn't be sweeter. Stefan Moore. Stefan Moore. Stefan Moore. |

Esquadina’s shooting on 09:59 - Sep 3 with 1633 views | GaxZE | He tried twice on Saturday and one was infuriating. A nice bit of play by us and the ball comes out to him about 30 yards out and it was a perfect angle to swing in a cross, but he shoots and spaffs it. He then did it again when he was basically the last man. Aside that liked the look of him. Can tell his idol was Roberto Carlos...

Esquadina’s shooting on 10:20 - Sep 3 with 1540 views | Jevlar | There was a weird 2/3 minute spell just after he came on where we suddenly decided to start shooting. Granted a couple were his wayward howitzers, but if anything it makes me like him more. 18, homesick, Brazilian kid, giving it the beans in the Championship. I think he will be granted some game time, he’s got a bit about him. At the back of F block where I sit, there were a bunch of Brazilian fans (a couple in a fluminese shirt) going mad when he came on.
Esquadina’s shooting on 10:23 - Sep 3 with 1530 views | CateLeBonR | It is a great name and it was quite funny when he came on Saturday. Think there was a flurry of subs from both teams, followed by the standard “who?” from both sets of fans. Then they announced “Esquerdinha” and all we got from the away end was a stifled “huh” followed by muttering.

My mate’s Dad was the same - not just footballers either. My favorite was always ‘I liked the look of that Cloudier Shifter….’
