Unite The Kingdom on 20:16 - Sep 16 by Whiterockin
Virtually the population of the whole of Wales.
Here's some numbers for you :
"According to the latest Met Police information released, of the 24 or 25 or 26 (depending on where you read it) arrests at the Unite The Kingdom March, only 8 were UTK marchers - out of hundreds of thousands - quite conceivably a million or more - whilst the others arrested - 16, 17 or 18 - were from the maximum of 5,000 counter protester"

Yet people will still stick their fingers in their ears!

There’s footage come to light of some of the police losing control and lashing out at protesters without reasonable justification, many of whom were trying to usher people away from the line of police in overcrowded bottlenecks. Senior officers instructed them to calm down and get a grip. Being generous I’d put it down to inexperienced recruits panicking in the face of a large crowd. I don’t think there was any clear instructions to inflame in this instance as the commanders intervened and were critical of the baton wielding. It’s a difficult job and mistakes happen but the media outrage is feckin laughable given the antagonism on the last Pally march.
(Sarah Hall made an utter arse of someone yesterday by making her eat her own words giving statistics about police getting hurt and making her think she was talking about the UTK march when in fact it was the last Pally march).
That area near Parliament Sq was probably the source of the 8 arrests. On every march people are told to not give the powers that be the excuse they are looking for.
The rhetoric in Westmonster is sickening. They cannot acknowledge the dissent of us plebs as their house of cards is built on BS so they churn out the same tired rubbish to discredit any protest.
It’s neo-lib fascism dressed up as democracy and it’s been that way since Blair.

Where did the Met Police say that?

The reason for the arrests on the Gaza march or whatever it was, was the Government had outlawed support for some Palestinian group, so all these old professional middle class people wlth banners were arrested, a total nonsense caused by Labour, there is a genocide going on and Labour seem to be endorsing it and getting people arrested for opposing the genocide, Labour own goal as regards freedom of speech.
Continually being banned by Planet Swans for Porthcawl and then being reinstated.
The police estimated that three million people attended the “Unite the Kingdom” event in London.
Our verdict
False. The Metropolitan Police estimated that between 110,000 and 150,000 people attended.
Multiple social media users are falsely claiming that police have estimated three million people attended the “Unite the Kingdom” protest march in central London at the weekend.
But the official estimate from the Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) was that between 110,000 and 150,000 were in attendance.
The three million figure was also shared by the event’s organiser Tommy Robinson (whose real name is Stephen Yaxley-Lennon), who posted on X (formerly Twitter) “I’m hearing police estimate 3 million patriots on the streets”, and later criticised “legacy media” outlets for reporting the Metropolitan Police’s estimate. We’ve contacted Mr Robinson for comment and will update this fact check if we receive a response.

On this thread its been shared that the Met announced a 3 million crowd at the event and affiliations of those arrested. Not true.
I get the last one as it's perfectly plausable that there were agitators in the crowd, but 3 million?
Sorry but if someone believes that the need their algorithms checked.
I'ts a bit like when the media say thousands of protesters turned up to demonstrate for pro Palestine, but when you look at the crowd they show on the TV news it's obvious there's a lot less.
Do you get just as hot under the collar about this over the top exageratation ?

Palestine’s a great cause though isn’t it I mean look at Celtic , no IRA to support, British ex soldiers pilloried , apartheid gone ,so Palestine fits the bill beautifully .

Well going by his secind line AND having met him in person, I'd say he doesn't think you should believe lies nor get carried away by them.
PS, I don't think he's hot under the collar either, he's just staing an opinion.
