Deserves his own thread I think, his signing was almost a little but unheralded and I thought he'd have a tough job breaking into the attacking positions for us. But that is 2 starts and 2 really positive performances. He shows for a the ball a lot, he tries things, he is positive, he clearly has technical ability. Just 22 too. Anyone know a ballpark figure of the 'undisclosed fee' we paid for him?

I agree. He's been creative and moved the ball both forward and quickly.

According to the Mail Chelscum waived a fee in return for a hefty sell on clause and performance bonuses. Which sounds like a cracking deal for us, only costing us (wages aside) if he does well.

Thought he was superb today... Still not quite sure what is his ideal position is.

Thought I think an "8". There was a Wrexham attack in the 2nd half and as Nardi claimed a shot, Vale was behind him on the lone

I think he could be big for us. We've been needing a left footed playmaker for ages and he could be it. Has a sort of effortless style about the way he plays.

Never knowingly right.

If the team/club are looking for a progressive 8,whatever that his lol. I think he could be the answer. Did his defensive work well today. Not the quickest but understands how to find space and is always moving

22 years old?

The flick round their player and then buying the foul to stop the game and draw some sting at the time was maturity beyond his years.
It was certainly appreciated by Captain Dunne

Wrexham certainly couldn’t live with Vale and Burrell down that side first half

He's an intelligent player who understands the game. He's mainly played as a 10 or wide left attacker, so he may keep Chair out of the side if he continues his current form.

They targeted McLean at RWB today to good effect. The interplay between him and Burrell on the right was excellent.

He only turned 22 a few days ago, so he has lots of time to develop even further.
