Birmingham City v Swansea City : Match day thread on 14:19 - Sep 18 with 9568 views | Azzuriswan | Hopefully we will approach the game with positivity which we showed against the Owls a couple of weeks ago instead of playing in a deep defensive shell allowing Birmingham to dictate play. We can win this 2-1
Birmingham City v Swansea City : Match day thread on 14:32 - Sep 18 with 9545 views | Whiterockin | It's going to be a big ask. Birmingham are a decent team who have had a week off whilst we will have had just a 60 hour turnaround. I would take a point now.

for me on paper our toughest game to date and with the short turn around making things difficult i too would take a point and hope for 3pts, and hope its not a game after the lord mayors show

Birmingham City v Swansea City : Match day thread on 10:45 - Sep 20 with 7301 views | RichardO | Hope we keep things tight at the back and let the midfield and forwards get us up the pitch to pick them off as they need to push forward to try and appease the home crowd.

Donβt give them the gaps on the right and left of midfield we normally give sides and dont allow them to get up a head of steam

Yalcouye is unlucky to miss out, possibly we are looking to contain them and hit them 2nd half.

The gaps appear often when we initiate the press too early before we regain our defensive shape, yes there are times when a quick press can be to our advantage when short intricate passes can drop opposition defenders and goalies in it, as we know to our cost but that press has to be a considered one and while doing so cutting out easy outs like unmarked wingers, players given time to turn or make passes unchallenged because we have laid off them too far. The opposition still have the option for the ball in behind but for the most part we have that covered in the air in the middle on the floor we might be a bit slow if they play one up top the two CH's should cope if they play two up top a midfielder needs to be in a position to help which still leaves two other midfielders to contest the middle ground. As for the gaps on the left and right maybe the wingers should be tucked in a little better to leave the opposition fullbacks have the ball deep and we can shift the midfield across to squeeze the flanks down, in the case of the Hull game the first goal we ended up with a centreforward on our right tucked in too much which allowed the fullback too much space to capitalise on. For the second goal we did not mark the wingers correctly and dropped too deep in midfield leaving our forwards isolated and the edge of the box free for Hull to pick off the loose balls cleared by us under pressure. Getting the marking right is paramount how many games after a angst filled first half have we come out marked properly and been competitive allowing us to get further up the pitch quicker.

| Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.
