Would like to see Saloman play back up to Nardi for a while, unless they really want Nardi out ASAP.

Maybe he will be and Hamer is the back up to Saloman.

Why would signing a 37 year old back keeper mean Nardi is off.

It doesn’t necessarily.

I’m speculating. Hope that’s ok.

I'd also like to see Salamon stay as backup, good first-team squad / matchday experience withouth necessarily playing, but I guess we want someone with more experience if there is a need to play. if Nardi gets injured.

If Salamon is not in the squad now, hopefully he gets a loan out somewhere.

Not a keeper I've seen much, I think.

Solid career. 394 appearances, 253 of them at our level or higher.
6'4"
7 clubs over 19 years, plus another six on loan.

That's all I've got.
Anyone know what his abilities are?
Stamp collecting?

I'd prefer to see Salamon on loan somewhere.

That's the conumdrum: you need your young keepers out on loan, barking at older players and gaining experience, skills and personality, but then you need three keepers minimum for training.

Can't see it. Just another warm body who can cover the position to avoid a repeat of the GK Injury Crisis of '22.

Ah, the goalkeeping crisis of 22 who can forget. Not a patch on the Amsterdam Banking Crusis of 1763 but far worse than the South Sea Bubble Crisis of 1720.

Did I forget any?

Yeah GKs are unique in that respect aren’t they.

Would also like to see Saloman on loan.

Assuming Nardi is going we could have a situation where we have three keepers under 23 (Walsh, Saloman, and Patrick McMurphy O’Malone) all with at least half a season of EFL under their belts next season.

Cuban missile, Suez, this years’s third kit, credit crunch, quantitive easing, Trump’s tariffs…..

Mild palpitations over water pressure, sound system upgrade, loss of Nick London and the sex-pest mascot.

Short term deal.

Whatever that means.

Like many GK’s Brian, they tend to have their best games against us !

My memory’s not great with Hamer specifically but I’d bet he’s one of them.

Overall, it does confirm my suspicion that there’s a Gk’ing accumulation fetish at the club though….perhaps worthy of a ‘keepers roadshow TV series on BBC9 or Dave Jarvous.

BINGO.

Anyway, clearly needed with Walsh out injured for a while.

The first thought I had was this could knock Salamon's confidence so, as others have said, I hope the lad is heading out on loan. Always felt Salamon has the potential to be a good keeper.

394 appearances and he hasn't scored a single goal!

Never knowingly right.

I suppose this means that the Joe Walsh injury is genuine.

The grass is always greener.

I've not seen the Club acknowledge an injury, maybe that's what the poster was also saying. I could have missed it though, I don't check the website, just socials.
