Swansea City : It’s not just Sheehan at fault, it’s Darren O’Dea too on 19:11 - Sep 21 with 3881 views | builthjack | O.Dea and Sheehan have a lot of work to do. Players were a little slow releasing it yesterday, we had the ball stolen off us a lot. We are a team who don’t like pressure on us. If a team puts 3 up front and press us when we have the ball we don’t seem to know what to do. We panic. You will see Galbraith looking, almost begging for players to move and find space . Some are one step behind him, slow thinking. It needs sorting or we will be in mid table or worse, and it will be hard to get that top 6 spot. It could all change with a few tweaks, and IF our coaches can make the players adapt. I hope so.

was O'Dea here during Duffs and Williams time when we were conceding late goals? Who was ? Sheehan? Its amazing how it seems the blane is being put elswhere from the man in charge ...who was the assistant to Duff and Williams who also conceded late goals It seems from the text O'Dea favours 4-3-3 yet in the Hull game when Cullen cane on we went 4-4-2... At the end of the day Sheehan is head coach...he has fhe fimal say. Lets hope between Sheehan ,Stearman ,O'Dea and O'Leary ( who is often up off the bench in Sheehans ear) it gets sorted.... But something is going on...Last Tuesday I was sat at a cafe when Stearman and O'Dea arrived and sat down to brunch. I was a table away bit could hear sime of their discussion...mostly relating to the Hull game....they were not happy with how things panned out.

O’Dea is the assistant, he has expertise in training defences in his own way as described. It’s an equal share of the blame for me. A win on Saturday though and it will all be quickly forgotten in certain quarters. But not every as Sheehan does have quite a lot of dissenters. However, there’s just three games to go before yet another international break. Two at home to Leicester and Millwall and one away at Blackburn. The season needs to settle down and it won’t until the 20th or so of November. It will only be the turn of the year when we can gauge what work has been done positively. Thirty five points minimum required.

Swansea City : It’s not just Sheehan at fault, it’s Darren O’Dea too on 19:44 - Sep 22 with 2759 views | ReslovenSwan1 | At the end of last season Sheehan had found a formula for grinding out narrow wins in tight games. He has to find that formula agains with a much stronger squad. There is a perception from pundits that a temporality successful assistant manager rarely repeats the indian summer he stated with. Sheehan has to be braver and go down fighting.

Swansea City : It’s not just Sheehan at fault, it’s Darren O’Dea too on 20:05 - Sep 22 with 2699 views | swansjack84 | The take I have got from alot of people which I have been relatively suprised at is how many fans actually on the fence about Sheehan and always waiting for him to trip up. I'll say it now, I'm not one of them. Sheehan has done a grand job. Saves us from relegation, and got a tune out of VP, and one of our best starts in championship for few years. His win rate is good and we are slowly building a fortress at home. He does have lessons to learn and we should be seeing out games. But I am staggered how many are starting to question him.

Do you think his tactics and substitutions were correct in the last two league games particularly the timings. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

No. He got it wrong with subs. I won't disagree on that. I can't defend that. But I think there is an over reaction or those looking for Sheehan to trip up.

I think we all want Sheehan to do well, but personally I think his decision making is below par this season even though he has a far stronger squad to choose from. Perhaps that is the problem, last season his options were limited so the decisions were limited, but he was able to grind results out.
Swansea City : It’s not just Sheehan at fault, it’s Darren O’Dea too on 21:52 - Sep 22 with 2467 views | RichardO | I think Sheehan has actually been very conservative with his choices both in his first choice teams, his cup teams and last of all his substitutions. Not meddling too much and nursing players back to full fitness while also picking his new players as he sees their value to the team is percieved, has he rush Idah into the team too quick, has he fallen for the line that if we are not scoring goals we must attack more, Williams started off very tight at the start of last season and the complains were heard and he changed it almost going all out attack to kill games off but as Sheehan has dropped points that were in the bag to be lost. Hope Sheehan can find that middle ground with his team between defence and attack. He doesn't know his players as well as the team he inherited last season some of which were also with us the season before, he has to find out what his players can and cannot do especially the late signings, I'm hoping he can get that balance right you could take the example of our hone game against Burnley once they went one nil up they weren't going to let that lead slip as we have this season. I'll add losing point as well be it one or three. Can we afford to be as free flowing and leaving us open as we have been?

We do and it’s good we are asking questions He’s been backed like few others before him He’s got to deliver If he doesn’t then off he goes I like a bit of emotion and he shows none , like Duff and Williams so it irks me Time to put it right against the Trailer trash next game

You love it when we have blips, like most clubs do at times during the season. You never give any of our managers time, never. You are on here moaning like an old woman. You were nowhere to be seen after williams was potted then sheehan took over, I do wonder why 🤔
Swansea City : It’s not just Sheehan at fault, it’s Darren O’Dea too on 10:51 - Sep 23 with 1883 views | raynor94 | I do think he should have made subs earlier Saturday as we were tiring after the Forest quick turnaround but this is literally a new team and will take time to settle. I do think the criticism of Sheehan and O'Dea is a tad premature the trouble is now we have 2 players for each position and we need to find the best combination

Ey op Ray Still “ a tad”though When fan , followers, supporters don’t ask questions , a club is dead in the water Fans demand , it’s just a matter of degrees Few have a good laugh after a defeat and most get upset, annoyed or just piddled off We all have bigger things in life to worry about but football , outside family and health Is most important of life aspects It’s what gives us joy, relief or respite from a sometimes dark world we live o In Up arrow

We’ve had a perfectly good goal chalked off due to official competence and gone 94 minutes with them struggling to break us down. Ok we switched off for a second it happens. Teams will always get chances when they throw the kitchen sink.

Good to see you on football side Don’t agree with you Making mistakes fine but we’re not learning That said , that chalked off goal was bad as anything Ive seen although the assaults on Galbraith should have see red cards I view Brum along with Sheffield Utd and Berle all as what you fond at the bottom of your drain bend We should expect this though

Taking off Vip , Inoussa and Yalcouye did for us. They weren’t overly tired and vip could have made way later for Idah. We surrendered an attacking midfield and put two players in who are way off pace in Eom and Cullen.
