Obsessively playing around at the back. Doesn’t look like the “ model” has changed at all.

| Dev Squad on 20:36 - Oct 14 with 3053 views | flynnbo | 3-0. Being given a lesson in finishing. We get to their penalty box but have no end product. Don’t think we’ve even had a shot on target. Second best throughout tbf and the class between the two sides is evident. We’ve played it around nicely at times but toothless. Still, it’s a learning experience. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Whilst the result isn’t that important in a game like this, it’s disappointing to see so much passing getting nowhere and the instinct always to stop and turn back. Interesting to see some players we have heard a bit about and obviously not full strength ( watch out Hendon!?). No first team fitness run outs. Plaudits to Brentford for a free live stream, which we don’t manage any more for games like this. Shame as they are interesting.

| Dev Squad on 20:55 - Oct 14 with 2918 views | flynnbo | 4-0. FT. Brentford could have had a lot more but for woeful finishing. Good experience for the lads against a much stronger team. | | | |
| Dev Squad on 23:33 - Oct 14 with 2595 views | qpr_1968 | just got back.... not much to add that has'nt already been said. thought brentford dominated from start to finish. our possesion wan'nt going anywhere. our keeper made two great saves in the first half.... a conservative guess on the crowd....300 die hard hoops... 500 bees buzzing around somewhere.... all in all a nice night out, and a new ground... roll on millwall.... | |

Not got back yet,but the 7pm ko did allow me to catch the 10.30 quite comfortably.Good to see Kholli and Morgan amongst the crowd tonight.
| Dev Squad on 08:53 - Oct 15 with 2189 views | switchingcode | When you take in the Brentford squad last night would have cost more than QPRs first team squad and many other championship clubs what do you expect.Hopefully the game was good for the young players in their development after all that’s what these games are for. Although Brentford took advantage to play 3 players from first team squad who are coming back from injuries.Would be interested to hear what those who went thought of the stadium bearing in mind you are looking to build a new one. | | | |

How much did it cost from the Lego shop?
| Dev Squad on 09:19 - Oct 15 with 2060 views | francisbowles | Watched it on the stream. It was good they put it up. However, it was one camera, very high up, no commentary and no replays, so it was difficult to watch and almost impossible to identify individual players. The first goal they scored from Donovan (from their site) was a superb rocket from about 25 yards. They mastered us in all areas but I have just been on their website where they mention SEVEN players from the first team squad were used. Their players speed of thought and anticipation were on a much higher level and whether we went sideways, tried to pass forward through midfield, attacked on the wing or went long they dealt with it easily. A difficult lesson for our lads. So no surprise that we were well beaten. Word of warning to the bus stop, we are concentrating on the PL development cup. Oh! Have they already been knocked out? | | | |

It wasn’t bad, although the signage to the various stands could do with improvement.I followed the signs to the north and east stands which mysteriously disappeared after 100 yards and I had to ask a local which was the right way to go. I guess it must get quite busy walking around when it’s full as there isn’t a great deal of space to get around the outside of the ground. The facilities around the bottom of the stand aren’t great, and I only saw one smallish kiosk. The queues for the toilets must be quite long if there’s a lot of away fans. They didn’t open the upper tier, but it looks like a better view up there than down in the lower tier, and I’d hope that there are more facilities up there. I was impressed by the sound system though and it makes a change to be able to hear something for a change. I was quite impressed and I think it’s the best lower league ground I’ve been to though.Just a shame about the multicoloured seats.

Mind you, if you include Plymouth, most of our team were first team squad! Thought our keeper (Warren) was good..but he needed to be. Wish our lot would cover these games better. Presumably totally different side tonight? Anyone going?

😂first time I’ve heard that.Cost around £100 mill expect that would have doubled to build now.So just shows what you get for your buck IF you can find a plot in your area. Not its biggest fan but it has served a purpose for our time in the PL.If we hadn’t got this we would have had an all seating Griffin Park with a capacity of 8500.

It's pay at the gate, only a few quid, usually a discount if you have your season ticket.
