Seems to have lost whatever football style of play he had after leaving Brighton .Personally thought he did a great job steading the ship with us after relegation

Would love to have Potter back here.
He's had 2 good pay offs and his stock has dropped.
We could be the perfect fit.
Can't help but think that we should be doing far better than what we are with our excellent squad.
How patient will our ambitious owners be?

A very very lucky overated manager no doubt some club will employ him again just like Martin when Rangers sack him

You give it out, you take it back it`s all part of the game
Poll: Happy to see Martin go

He's a far better manager than Martin, no comparison

His signings at Swansea were very poor and the same happened at WHU. As with Huw he was too loyal to his failing recruitment man McCauley. Huw has the low visibility David Ledbetter who was excellent in the early days but had more misses that hits and cost the club dearly.

Potters teams from what I have read are very weak at set pieces so he should bring him assistance to help with that

Wise sage since Toshack era

To reiterate he is the perfect fit for us.
Under Potter we witnessed our best football since Laudrup's first year.

We’re a long way off needing a new manager at the moment. We’ve generally flattered to deceive this season and Sheehan has a lot to do, but we’d be mad to consider a change at this point. We’d be in the top 6 of the Championship had VAR.

I thought Potter was exceptional here, particularly in the second half of the season. It’s in the past though and it’s staying there

Given the squad turnover and associated turmoil that followed our relegation Potter did a pretty good job. Patchy in parts, but there were signs of better things to come and we played some lovely football in parts. He then went on and did, no bones about it, an excellent job at Brighton.

Lost his way a bit after his experiences at Chelsea. Maybe he'll go abroad again as a refresher.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

How we going to pay him wasn’t the question.
The fact remains we all wanted Sheehan out weeks if not months ago.
That is all.

I'll be honest I wanted Sheehan when he was given the job full time. The results he got with the squad we had last season were excellent. How he has failed to step up this season is a complete mystery to me unless he is not strong enough to override his coaching staff. When he was appointed it was not a unanimous decision at the club, I wonder if that dissenting voice is still at the club or been moved on.

The consequences for the Swans if Sheehan is sacked are big financially. Plus O’Dea may well go too.

That’s money better spent elsewhere and is PSR related.

I’m unsure about the unanimous decision on his appointment and haven’t heard any grounds for that being the case.
