Idah , looks slow and clueless 16:09 - Sep 27 with 3687 viewsWales

Hope I am wrong but so far this guy looks garbage.

All well and good scoring a few in the jock pub league but today he was slow and looked totally out of his depth when he came on , even getting in the way of Vipotnik who was about the smash it goal bound.

When he was put through clean on goal he was slow and non committed, also reacted like a snail at the end when it came back off the keeper, then ball placed perfectly on his head to nut it miles over.

His record at Norwich was 8 goals in 100 games, that hardly inspires confidence, it was a bit better playing in the pub league but when your squad costs 10 times the amount of virtually all the others thats not hard.

£6 million wasted I am afraid. I doubt if the dud gets us 10 league goals this season.

My opinion on Vipotnik and Idah. Vipotnik needs the ball played to his feet, whilst Idah needs the ball in the air preferably from wide left because he drifts right. It was interesting yesterday with both on the pitch together, Vipotnik dropped deeper while Idah played further forward, I would have played them the other way round if anything.

I think they had it right in theory. Idah as the target upfront with Vipi ostensibly feeding off his layoffs/knockdowns. There just weren't really any.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

You give it out, you take it back it`s all part of the game

Happy to have a wide range of options up top that we haven't had time to fully explore and know when to use them.
Add our midfield options which includes Fulton and our defensive options of Parker, Samuel-Smith and Casey.
New players to augment what we had last season doesn't mean we ditch players who were used to good effect last season and who had gain experience in the Championship.

If Idah is not up to speed them why play him, let him integrate into the squad during the training sessions. We have the likes of Widell who had started to look sharper amd up to speed and now we are not using him, Eom and Cullen got us up the pitch against Forest making a difference, I know it is early days for him but so has it been for others, We want players up top with guile and movement to open teams up we seem to be relying on the likes off Tymon and Key to provide that but that leaves us so exposed at times at the back.
Bringing on the extra attacker would seem to be a good idea but at the moment Idah is not ready.
Vipotnik also now seems to link up well with Ronald who will be disappointed to put his chance over the bar, right place right time I had called to give Benson a chance but Ronald was playing ok but Sheehan really needs to look at the partnership of Key and Ronald because it really slows the play down on the right, Key taking far too many touches on the ball, getting caught on the ball far too often also resulting in the safe momentum killing back passes.

I think he is up to speed it’s just him settling in we had a year of Vip getting his mindset right. I think both can play as a two up front, it’s early days, it wouldn’t surprise me of it didn’t click until after Xmas.

A great believer in taking anything you like to wherever you want to.

Get him running on Swansea beach on wet sand - that will build the stamina up .
Him and Vipotnik could be a lethal partnership up front ............. Watch this space.
Benson supplying the ammo on one side . (Ronald to come on second half with Ionousssa . replacing Benson and Yalcouye). Widdel alongside Yalcouye and Galbraith in mf and Stamenic holding.
Defence of - Cabango , Burgess and West Ham lad . vigoroux in goal.
Switch to a back 4 if in front second half to consolidate . Bring off W.Ham Lad bring on Tymon and Key . Bring off Yalcouye . Replace tired legs with Franco as you see fit
