Probably a far fetched theory, but the biggest audience for Sky and Co is the middle east and far east. These locales are also well known for their corrupt ways high up. Wouldn’t be the first time, from memory, the last time we started a season in League 1 we did so with a points deduction which is why it took us two seasons to get back up to the Championship. Got a feeling it was for going into administration which led to a points deduction whilst the dodgy Sk8’s down the road were committing far worse in terms of financial improprieties and getting away with it because they were In the PL boys club. No, that's about right, but good times on way back up. We were actually winning a few games including a trophy at Wembley! Great day out and I'm sure that day gave Wembley the record tickets sold by one club there? Dirk could probably help with that one, but best bit was seeing the photos of Marcus (God rest his soul) with a beaming smile on his face after that win |  |
