I'm sure they've been there, I've been probably a hundred times.

back in 1981 and possibly '82, used to drink in the halfway house in lillee road.
an old irish lady, in her 90's, used to sit by their open fire a couple of hours a day.
half a stout she had, and done exactly what that fellow done in the video, hot poker plonked in her stout.......best way i could describe it anyway.

What could this nellie be and how does your nellie relate to my intense reluctance to proceed with whatever it is.

Is it Shakespeare again? He seems to have his dabs on a lot of these old sayings, adages, idioms or whatever they are.

It's closely related to " not for all the tea in China" and "not even for a big effing clock" I think...
