A LFW podcast brimming with positivity and optimism is almost certainly a portent of imminent doom, so let's enjoy six unbeaten, manager of the month nominations, top six in the league and Nicolas Madsen's redemption arc while we can as Clive, Simmo and Jack Supple digest the remarkable post-Coventry turn around, key factors that have led to it, and whether it can be sustained.

Excellent timing, I have a road trip to do tomorrow.

By any chance, is the episode four hours long?

Three and a half. you've got half an hour alone with your intrusive thoughts...

Can we not knock it?

that made my train journey into White City go a lot quicker this morning, excellkent stuff

Quick one on Bircham just to say he was replying to a tweet saying that the connection with the fans after Stoke was as good as it was with Bircham, Cook, Gallen etc and I think his main point was that kind of connection takes time to build rather than a new player going over the top after a home win which kind of got lost in all the noise and mocking of him that followed.

Will also be interesting with Madsen how he copes with teams who will look to find a way to stop him, that element of surprise with him is likely to end soon. Will be a good test for him

Great debate. Squad strength so obvious, to be discussing what happens if Madsen gets injured as a potential problem pretty unbelievable. Personally. think Harvey Vale is the answer to that conundrum, second best passer in the team..

Thanks guys

I've found lately, in the middle of a gloomy work week, the fact that some of this grind might get interrupted by a blue and white hooped team of actual, competent players running around on a lovely bit of grass at the weekend, to be a strangely soothing concept.

For now at least - it's hope that kills etc. Looking forward to listening to a few similar thoughts.

Couldn’t agree more on the admitting mistakes points. Just show a bit of humility early on in ‘the process’. Not even a principles thing, just buy yourself some time / credit. Especially when many of the areas as eloquently described by Simmo are showing positive signs.

Real own goal.

Almost too nice and positive, but really enjoyed the chance to talk and the agenda Clive sets makes it easy.

Not a lot of contention or ranting but at least if we go on a bad run we can jump on the pod and have a bit of a row.

Being QPR, and being me, I like things to be difficult.

Great listen. Would like these to become weekly if possible if only to hear Simmo refer to people as effing idiots. The conviction in his voice is admirable.-

Really enjoyed listening to this today. Cracking balance of humour, knowledge, fairness, stats and more humour.

Thank you all.
