Will Still needs a win on Saturday before a tricky game at Bristol City on Tuesday.
3 points from these 2 games should keep him in a job.
Anything less and the Blackburn game will surely be a must win for him or he’s down the road.

He shouldn’t have been appointed in the first place but I hope he gets a win on Saturday.

Adam Lallana is waiting…

The question is whether he has the qualifications to take over the job on a permanent basis, he seems to have parked his coaching badges progression when he joined Saints as a player so might not yet hold the UEFA B badge needed to coach in the Championship

You are Danny Rohl.

You have the chance to manage a really big club in Scotland where you probably would get a free hit, as the previous manager did so badly there that the fans would accept any new man coming in. And if the job goes well, potential Champions League football next season.

Or you could hold out for the hope of a job at an under-achieving Championship club who may or may not get rid of yet another manager.

If I was Danny Rohl, I would be checking accommodation options in Glasgow.

All along I thought that Still was the wrong appointment.

However, if the other option is Lallana ( after what he said when he left ) I would be quite happy if Still remains as manager and takes us all the way down to the Southern League or whatever it’s called nowadays.

Poll: Time for Still to go ?

Does this include being an Interim Manager?

‘Adam Lallana is in the process of obtaining his UEFA coaching badges, and by the end of the 2023-2024 season, he planned to have his B and A licenses. He is actively gaining experience by working in coaching roles with England's U21s and Southampton, where he was appointed as interim assistant manager for the end of the 2024-25 season.’

Surely it depends on what quality of life he wants, no? :-)

Personally I do not see what the clamour is with Rohl. I don't think he would be the answer.

The Rangers job is a poison chalice.

For many years now, the Rangers team has played second fiddle to Celtic and they have hardly shone in Europe or even the Scottish leagues.

Nonetheless, their fans are really that - fanatical - and they cannot or will not see that they are not equipped to be a force in Europe or Scotland.

That might be because of player recruitment, coaching, managing, ownership etc. It matters little to the fans who are just desperate for success - and that has to come FAST.

If I were Rohl, I'd be looking for a second/third division outfit in England to hone my skills and then look to the Championship next season or possibly go into Europe. I would be steering clear of a club with limited resources but huge expectations.

How could they be concerned about a 5 million compensation fee for Danny Rohl when the idiots paid 7 million for Damian Downs?

Haven’t heard much about Russell Martin lately.
Every dropped point this season and last year’s relegation was his fault a couple of months ago.

Danny Rohl really should have been appointed in the first place. Successful Championship experience, he galvanised a team in chaos (just what we needed), experience of being a number 2 in the PL, same at the world famous Bayern Munich, links to our club, plays attacking, fearless football.

So what, we had to pay 5 million compensation? It's so shirt sighted. What is 5 million, had Rohl achieved promotion? How much will it cost to pay off yet another manager? More than 5 million I would suggest. And then they spend 7 million on Downes! They are idiots, utter idiots. That money would have been far better spent on a an experienced championship manager like Rohl.

So there we are, more evidence of pathetic, short sighted owners, saving a few pennies, that then costs a fortune.

Poll: Who do we want as the new permanent Saints manager?

Talk of a new manager seems disrespectful to Will who has a massive job on his hands.
Having said that I want to see an improvement on Saturday, given the extra time hes had during the international break.
Wills chopping and changing his team around is trying fans patience.
We have some good players for the Championship but we don't see a settled side and its costing us points.
Danny Rohl was my choice,I like Will and hope he succeeds but he has to settle with his best team and stop changing so much.
If he doesn't, get Danny back and give him the money for a Centre Forward to lead the line.
