...Prince Andrew's meagre reputation unravel before our very eyes.

It's been a long time coming and for such an arrogant and privileged so-and-so, he deserves to stew in the misery of his own making for a bloody long time to come. Royals need to go further than current gestures.

No doubt there are whole host of other dirty b'stards out there stewing at the moment! Hopefully, more scumbags to get their comeuppances soon.

What's wrong with being French? Better food, better wine, better climate, better relations with their European neighbours, you can go and live anywhere else in the EU whenever you like, and you can buy or sell whatever you like in the EU without red tape. Sounds pretty good to me.

The food thing...bit of a myth. An awful lot of average in my experience, albeit mixed in among some exceptional stuff: which you could say for many places. I think the UK is as underrated as much as France is often overrated.

Now, back to sautéing nonces...

Using his daughter as a cover story was a sign of real class.

Pizza Express wasn't it. Fancy having that as your father. Poor girls.

Another classic from that interview, descring Epstein's behaviour/crimes as, 'unbecoming'.

What a vile take. You're essentially arguing it's OK for children to be trafficked, exploited and abused as long as you can judge them to be a 'sex worker'. Do you really think that children are capable of making that choice?

On the one hand you have people constantly raging about grooming gangs and wanting to bring the subject up at every opportunity while on the other they're happy to studiously ignore this or make excuses for it.

Don’t think Trump could even spell Republic let alone know what it means. He’s more a monarchist

Another point in favour of France is that they have put a former Prime Minister in jail for 5 years.
Wouldn’t happen here 😳

Okay, I’ll go first. Boris Johnson for awarding his pole dancing mistress a £100,000 government grant

Plus, and I love this one, one of the 51 rapists of Gisèle Pélicot appealed his sentence. The court accepted his appeal and did indeed amend his sentence. The only thing is: the court increased the sentence!

Apparently the Police units that looked after the Royals had little transparent codenames for them. So the Queen was The Boss, Phillip was The Greek etc.

Andrew's? The C**t

It's highly unlikely Andrew Windsor has ever paid tax in his life. The UK royal family is generally exempt from paying income tax, capital gains tax, and inheritance tax on their official assets. He should therefore not be able to draw the state pension.

The next head of the royal family in my opinion will be better. William and his wife are 100 times better than the current crop and in my opinion will bring stability to the royal family.

As has been shown when dealing with that brat of a brother and his trollop of a wife, he wont take no nonsense

I have a hunch that William will be the one who, on taking the gig, will oversee fairly radical reform to the royal family's role. I don't really know what that would look like, or how you do it. But he seems reasonably smart, he's had a front seat for a lot of the most depressing chapters of the royal family, and i suspect their popularity is only going to keep declining with his dad in the hot seat.

I find the royal family an abomination, and the public's fascination with them degrading and embarrassing, but it's also a double edged sword for them - they have this unnatural, gilded life, but it drives them all insane (and worse - see topic of thread), not helped by all the inbreeding of course.

Historically there were other methods for solving the problem of course, but a managed winding down is probably best for everyone.

He is not the only one . Putin, Erdoğan, and the Belarusian among a long list of African and middle Eastern presidents of ill repute who acted more like tyrants rather than elected heads of state.

Of course, Republican heads of state can be appalling but they're unlikely ever to outnumber or out-bastard the monarchs throughout history who've been the worst of the worst.

'Allegations.' I suspect you're the victim of misinformation. But assuming you're an adult, you're still responsible for your misinformed views. There are always people who defend abusers and we can form our own views as to why.

We're seeing that right now, hence the need to use this disgusting parasite as a distraction to a far bigger evil.
