Why would you sub a player clearly on fire and leave one who is beyond pitiful Sheehans gash

Well they’re not wrong are they? Yes, we won but again there were no moves out there creating havoc for the opposing defence. It was two individually brilliant goals that won it and thank God for Vipotnik.

Not being funny UJ but would you rather us play well and draw or lose? I know what I would take.

Performance analysis, not for me, I just open my eyes.

To my eye there is still a severe lack of quality, even though I keep kidding myself that the team is about to gel. Thank goodness that Vip has come good or we would be in dire straits. Really needed that 3 points so I suppose we should be happy.

I’d rather play well and win. That performance today was not good enough. We hardly had any touches in the box, there were 20 crosses into the box of which none were successful. We huffed and puffed and even reverted to type after the first goal but better after the second. My point has nothing to do with 3 points, they’re always welcome. It’s to do with the performance which will not be good enough to win many games this season unless Vip creates chances out of nothing. This is down to Sheehan who hasn’t magically made himself a better manager because we won. We won today despite him not because of him.

Way better than we've been though. Defensively looked much more solid, we attacked quicker than we have for a while. Definitely a glimmer of hope that we can get better

I’m yet to be convinced by Sheehan to be honest. I like him as a person because he’s likeable but I see no coaching skills in him to be successful at this level. I want him to succeed but it’s going to take some much better performances than today to persuade me he’s the right man.

The attacking quicker, were breakaways, we were at home, played the game as if we were away, scoring form "scraps" and going defensive last 15-20. today was eother save my job day, or lets just not lose and see what happens. it wot bring the fans back.

happy with the 3 points yes but we must be putting teams as poor as they were today to the sword , for me there is something not as it should be , why i do not know? whilst NOT throwing ANYONE under the bus it has to be off the field that seems not to be gelling, are the coaches compatible? are they on the same road or are the players not as good as we think they are? wish i could answer my own questions as we ALL want the team and club to be there or there abouts at seasons end, as we are we are a mid div team at best well done today lads valuable 3 points now really show us all what you really can do consitantly

Well said, that’s what I saw as well ,we started quickly then went back to the slow stuff again and allowed them into the game Thank goodness for Big Zan ,some of his lay offs were brilliant and when he hits a ball, it stays hit ,2 wonderful strikes Widell should have come on for Cullen earlier Not a great overall performance but a big big win

| Swansea City v Norwich City : Match day thread on 18:02 - Oct 25 with 636 views | lifelong | Apart from the two wonderful strikes by Vip another disappointing and frustrating performance. Leading up to the second goal Norwich were on top and looked like the favourites to go on and win the game. Becoming unconvinced that the manager is the right man to take us forward. | | | |

I wouldn't call it creating havoc particularly but for the first twenty minutes or so we went at them with purpose. The result was a lovely goal from Zan and another effort which came back off the post straight into the keepers arms. Could easily have been two nil. And then we stopped and sat back. Why ? I don't understand. And we also sat back before and after his second. Again, why ? Even though we won and i'm very glad of the three points I wasn't impressed atall.

Yes, we sat back after the first and were pretty clueless. I think we were better after the second and contained them reasonably well but I share your concern as to why we do this. It maybe lack of confidence and fear of losing what we’ve just gained?
