| Why Wednesday? 11:36 - Oct 25 with 2005 views | Third_Division_South | Any idea why we seem to be playing all our midweek games on a Wednesday? It was almost always Tuesday but this month they were both Wednesday and the same next month. Stephan doesn’t seem too keen because it seems that the team we play on the following Saturday has an extra day to prepare and he always mentions it in his pre match interview. Personally, Wednesdays are a pain in the arse for me as well, maybe why I’ve noticed it. | | | | |

You can always do what I do and grab a Power Nap in the back of the car.7 or 8 pints of Guinness helps. | | | |

| Why Wednesday? on 14:10 - Oct 28 with 560 views | losethedrum | Third div south is correct , thinking of both the fans & players cast your minds back to last xmas when we were away to Swansea 26th dec (no trains bus home in the fog) & then 3 days later midday kick off away to Norwich (no trains until the day of the match) , Whilst Norwich were a home to Wall & sat at home waiting for us. Don't worry though it will surely even up , this season we are away to Blackburn weds 26th nov then Norwich sat 29th away & they play tuesday at home no travel & then us on the sat just like at Derby . As far as i can see the advantage of playing at home to a side who were away weds night does not come round all season . I also make it at least 4 seasons since we were at home boxing day & 29th of dec , this is all looking a tad unfair . | | | |

| Why Wednesday? on 19:28 - Oct 28 with 313 views | NorrisGreen | JS should shut his gob and quit publicly carping about scheduling and tiredness - it really gets on my wick and serves no positive purpose whatsoever. Indeed, it probably cedes some territory to the opposition in terms of mind games and our mental resilience and attitude to the fixture. Thus far I can't recall any of our Saturday games getting shunted to Friday night or Sunday lunchtime and haven't all our Saturday 12:30s been home games? Basically, we've not really suffered any significant disruption from Sky, certainly not as much as we could have. | | | |
