I was hoping Hendo would want to beat Reg's 119 league goals - it would take some doing though if he doesn't stay beyond this season as Hendo currently has 107. From Hendo's interview's he's happy enough with being the all time scorer (league and cup).

Not a slur on Lynch, but it’s notable that in the few games since Sanchez has been injured we’ve conceded a few goals from corners. We know how good Sanchez is at commanding his area and claiming the ball, and my first thought on Saturday’s Gillingham goal was that Sanchez would’ve got it.

Not a slur on Lynch, but it’s notable that in the few games since Sanchez has been injured we’ve conceded a few goals from corners. We know how good Sanchez is at commanding his area and claiming the ball, and my first thought on Saturday’s Gillingham goal was that Sanchez would’ve got it.

Sanchez has a significant size advantage which makes claiming crosses easier. Agree about the goal on Saturday.

Unfortunately there’s been little to indicate Lynch is a long term option. Ok cover at best.

Me too - it's a massive part of Sanchez's game and it makes such a difference to the defenders when they know the keeper is going to punch or catch most crosses that come in. I also thought Sanchez would have reached the Wycombe 1st goal ( the fortunate cross which went in the far corner ).

Hendo won’t be here next season unless there is a dramatic shift in stance.
