No. He set up the goal with a cross the defender couldn’t deal with.

And despite his poor form during his second spell, he’s made contributions and is obviously trusted by the manager and the squad. At no stage has his effort or commitment dropped either. Losing a yard of pace has made him a totally different player.

I think you will find it was a poor clearance by Alderweireld from a poor Done cross that dropped for Davies at the back post.

Great result shame about the injuries stacking up. Wigan were poor tonight but they've just beaten Sunderland and Accrington so had picked up some form. We still looked a little weak at the back but looked much better going forward. Bit worried for the next game with so many central midfielders potentially missing.

I'm sure with the over exaggeration we get with a loss we'll now get the same with a 5 nil win? 5 year contract for BBM anyone?
