Looks like Tottenham are seriously considering a bid for Ebere Eze, would think in the current market he is worth something around 60m/70m.

If he does go, then we get 20% of the profit, so we could stand to gain a lot from it, which at this moment in time would change our FFP landscape completely.

The big hope with Eze is he stays at Palace this season and goes up another gear before making his mark at the Euros next summer in an England shirt. If that happens he’ll go for £100m+ next summer (to ABC) and whilst it’s a big if, it’s not beyond the realms of what could happen over the next 12 months.

From BBC Gossip:

Manchester City failed with a transfer deadline day bid of £60m for Crystal Palace forward Eberechi Eze, with the Eagles refusing to budge from their £80m asking price for the 25-year-old England international. (Sunday Mirror)

Don't sign it Ebere, your talents are needed elsewhere!

Crystal Palace manager Roy Hodgson says the club are "optimistic" that agreeing a new contract with England forward Eberechi Eze "won't take too long".

"I believe the club are working very hard with Eberechi Eze," Hodgson said.

"They are very confident it won't be too long before they can announce him as well," the Eagles manager added.

"But certainly, they are optimistic it won't take too long to get Eze to commit his future as well."

If he signs a new deal with Palace it means any future transfer fee will be higher - as when he signed a new deal with us.

Woy's hoping it won't take too long... Could be any day now.

Woy looks nervously over his shoulder 'Are we still talking about Eze?'
