Looks like Tottenham are seriously considering a bid for Ebere Eze, would think in the current market he is worth something around 60m/70m.

If he does go, then we get 20% of the profit, so we could stand to gain a lot from it, which at this moment in time would change our FFP landscape completely.

i am hoping Eze gets in the england squad today, plays a blinder scores three or more v scotland and his price goes to £100m and they sell him, makes sense to me and palace can enlarge their supermarket

I think he might get in the England squad, especially given Southgate knows Palace well.

I still have a feeling a club will come in for him tomorrow before the window shuts.

He would absolutely thrive under Ange Postecoglu.

Being in the same England squad as Harry Maguire doesn't really say much, does it?

To be fair to him, it isn't as if he's ever let Southgate down. I can only think of one dodgy performance from him in an England shirt.

Just read Spurs are looking at Conor Gallagher which would put the kybosh on signing Eze.

Gallagher would be a lot cheaper, Daniel Levy's ideas I'd guess.

God no! This opens up the possibility of Eze to Chelsea…

Hmmmm. An interesting moral dilemma. Chelsea are far more likely to pay 100m for a player of his quality than Daniel Levy ever will. So would 20m to QPR go a long way to offsetting any nausea we might collectively feel by seeing him wear a Chelsea shirt?

Echo this.

I can quite happily watch palace and wanting them to do well with Eze in the side, but Chelsea..... that's just a Bridge too Far.

that would be odd given their skillsets are polar opposites

Yeah, fair point and Gallagher is more of an 8 than a 10. But perhaps even that profligate shower might balk at buying both players on the final day of the transfer window. Actually, maybe not.

He's been dead to me ever since he left QPR. I couldn't give a fk who he plays for except to say that if it is Chelsea then I hope he does poorly.

Beyond that I hope the kid has a good life.

Saw him at Brentford v Forest in May. OK, it's just one game but he didn't look all that.

£45m? Stop the world......

Man Citeh sign some other player I’ve never heard of for about £50mill after selling some kid to the scum for similar millions

Ebs ain’t going nowhere
Clearly good for us if he does / did but for him and his personal development I think he should stay at Palace. Why not? Well paid, regular, becoming a darling of their embarrassing ultras and now in the England squad.

If we did end up with a £20Mill kickback now you just know it would be pissed away by the clowns in control of it. So………. what will be will be

Cherish and enjoy life.... this ain't no dress rehearsal
