Looks like Tottenham are seriously considering a bid for Ebere Eze, would think in the current market he is worth something around 60m/70m.

If he does go, then we get 20% of the profit, so we could stand to gain a lot from it, which at this moment in time would change our FFP landscape completely.

It’s being reported that Tottenham have accepted Bayern’s £95 million bid for Kane, which would clearly mean they’d need to replace him, although Eze obviously isn’t an out and out striker.

I genuinely think its time for him to move on to bigger club... wonder how more England caps he will get if he moved to Spurs?

If that went through then that would give us approx 10 mil?

Smells like a trout farm in here

Yep which would help massively with FFP

Amazing that he would have saved the club twice in 3 years

I think they are considering a bid cause Bryan Gil is injured, and obviously them accepting a £95m bid for Kane means they will have a decent bit of money in the bank now.

Come on! Cthulhu, Baphomet, Almighty Atheismo - one of you owes us for the last 12 years! Just give us this one, for fcuk's sake! He's worth at least £70m!

Wouldn't it be nice if, upon being fished out of the soup once again, we didn't do everything in our power to put ourselves straight back in it?

I can't see there being any more Eze's on the horizon for a long time to come so if we do end up pocketing circa £10m then we have to sort our schit out once and for all because if we don't, there won't be anything like this to fall back on.

Hate to be captain buzzkill, but it won’t be this simple.
It’ll give short term respite for sure, but won’t allow us to sort out schit out. All it will do will allow us to make a couple of signings. The rest will go into the black hole.

Bare bones.

Can’t we use it to get our cost base right? We know roughly income and we’ve clearly got too much cost. Will need to be using the cash to pay people off and get us back to a sustainable level.

Bollox to that: let's move Cook and Colbeck on now, and 'kin 'ave it with some top-top players.

Hopefully, Redknapp didn't take his Rothmans 2008 guidebook with him...indeed, fcuk it, let's get a new one.

We've got 21 days left...

I put a tenner free bet on Kane going at 11/4 about a month ago - free money.

can't believe this thread.... if Spurs buy Eze for £80 million we will say 'no' to the £15 million and instead take their current incarnations of Sandro and Amos on 5 year deals.

Unfortunately, although Tottenham might buy Eze, there is no way that they would pay £80 million for him... surely????

It depends on the wording in the sales contract as to how much we might get. If it 10% of profit then knock off what they paid for him. I think some are grossly overestimating how much he is worth. 30-40M maybe. Can't see us getting anywhere near £15 M. But every little helps I guess.

If West Ham are sticking a £90m price tag on Paqueta, then Eze must be way higher than 30-40m

They could stick 900m on him, doesn't mean anyone's going to pay it.

I said on another thread, it's a shame he lost that year through injury.

Otherwise, he'd be an oven ready option for a big club now for £60m plus.
