Nice Bristols! The QPR v Bristol City Match Thread 14:38 - Apr 10 with 16726 viewsGaryHaddock

Who needs strikers anyway? God knows who’s playing but we usually enjoy a bit of momentum after a win.

Big impact from Kolli expected amid the hype.

I’ll say a Leeds style draw 2-2.

FT 50pts!
Could have won that though. Good week for the Rs all things considered.

Decent draw but the chances were there to win the game. Still, no time for being greedy. Another point in the bag.

Considering the team we had starting and particularly finishing we played some nice football to start with and then we ensured a result.

Well done to players and management for that.

Good point, perhaps should have won.

Three unbeaten

Highly unlikely to go down

Would love to get another win though and cement that illusive 14th place!!

Well, we didn't lose. And in the first half hour we looked pretty decent.

Honestly couldn't believe Kolli taking on the shot rather than make the pass to Smyth but I suppose strikers will always back themselves to score.

Decent result, especially with the availability issues we've got.

Wot he said.

If we'd been offered 5 points a week ago, we'd have taken it.

Nice one the Rangers!!

Would have absolutely ripped your arm off for that
I think we were safe after oxford but with that in mind it's even more pleasing to see us put in a decent performance today against a team that had much more to play for

FFFS Kolli, just play Smyth in!!!

A touch of over confidence there, not a bad thing for a striker to have.

I'll take the point... but the joking and yang effort really should of been 2-1

I'll be very happy if we beat Preston and Swansea and let's face it Burnley will beat us... but let's go all out with Celar return hat trick at Sunderland.

If I get time away from my 9 month old daughter ill do the threads

Good result overall considering we were playing against the ref and the Lino on Stan Bowles side

All in all a good point for us. Really well done to everyone.

Importantly we go in to Easter with some momentum behind us and not on a losing streak.

Some talk above about Kolli backing himself to score and that being over-confident as a striker and excusing him for not passing to Smyth. Not sure I agree but fair enough I accept the points.

But what about the actual shot!?!?!! As the chant says, what the fücking hell was that?

Absolute rubbish.

His shot a few minutes before which was blocked out for a corner was arrowing into the bottom corner. We were sat right behind it. I guess that got his confidence up. He's definitely got something about him.

He really should have passed but you do want your strikers to be confident. Marti will have a word.

If it was a midfielder or defender taking that shot rather than pass then that is a little different.

Fair point overall.

Some good performances, especially Ashby out of position.

Thought Colback was MOTM considering he was on an early yellow after Varane’s hospital pass to him.

The Bennie substitution was odd and served no purpose : would’ve liked to see Kolli or Frey earlier to give us a better chance of winning the game.

He's not played for several weeks, and was only on for the last few minutes. He was a touch over-eager, as young men his age tend to be!
