One could argue that if Cardiff didn't look after him properly they were not following due diligence with a member of staff. To avoid this Cardiff would need to prove that he had not followed the instructions Cardiff had set out and those instructions would need to be in writing and signed to be watertight. I'll tell you what I suspect, McKay wanted something in return for guaranteeing his advice that a player he dealth with should sign for Cardiff. Rather than a big paper bag full of cash they did it a more sneaky way.
Dodgy dealings have gone on all th time in sport, I used to read the "secret footballer" and he had several books out, agents don't have great reps and the ex pro's books didn't help.

I know it’s a completely unique and hugely tragic situation but the way Cardiff has acted has been absolutely shameful and sums up the sort of club they are. I have invited fans on here to condemn ethnic slurs but none will. The same people will condemn such slurs when less obscene stuff is sung at other ethnicity groups. Some create wriggle room by denying Welsh is even an ethnic group.
