Kim Hellberg 19:15 - Apr 17 with 11541 views | Fireboy2 | Wtf are the club thinking of? We have a manager who totally understands the current squad, the feeling is reciprocated, the fans love the current manager, wtf are they bringing this guy over talks, because that's all it is, talk, it means nothing, it's actions that count, sheehan has proved he's the man for the job through actions, getting us out of the relegation battle. Kim Hellberg on 10:28 - Apr 24 by Fireboy2 | So what the current players think dont matter? And I think alot of fans have a great deal of knowledge, we know a good man when we see one. |
And going back to sideways backwards possession is the last thing we need Why do these owners seem intent on pussssing off the fan base Sheehan has shown " possession" football of often unproductive although it looks good in stats It should be the easiest decision to make

some said the same of Martin! I hope the club do make a Sheehan an offer and also intheir conversations they align as Sheehan spoke of. The risk is the owners and executive management may not share his vision resulting in him moving on. This would be sad and bad news for us fans but the club needs a plan b shoukd plan a not pan out out surely?

That’s too simplistic a question Ed. They will matter but to be accountable for the future the management team have to think independently and dispassionately. This will clearly take into account the success to date which has resulted in him being a fans’ favourite and presumably the players too. Will they consult the players? I don’t know but I doubt it. Their question will undoubtedly be, can we do EVEN BETTER than Sheehan?

How do we know that these two know if we can do better? Their experience is limited to league 2. After seeing how sheehan has changed the teams attitude and confidence around in only 2 months I can't believe that these two are bumbling around. I have never known a time like this before regarding a manager, we are so lucky to have sheehan, without him we would be in the same position as the scum.

We don’t, but surely doing this job in league two and having access to all the reports and data on other candidates makes them better placed to judge than any of us? I think they will appoint Sheehan soon enough and all this will be academic.

I am hoping that Sheehan signs a deal next week and is announced as our permanent manager when he walks out against Oxford. The place will be bouncing.

This is what I think will happen, as everyone says, the evidence in favour of him is overwhelming. I’d be more than happy, as I guess pretty much everyone would be. If it doesn’t though and they genuinely feel Hellberg is the better option, I’ll be happy with that as well. Honestly think this is a win-win

Do you think Russell Martin is under consideration for the Norwich job?

I would have thought so, but I’m hearing Hellberg is a proposition for Norwich away from Wilshere.

Kim Hellberg on 07:26 - Apr 24 by Fireboy2 | My worry is that, even though it's clear as day to most fans that sheehan is the obvious choice for the reasons you have stated, those two still haven't appointed him, when it would a great time to do it before a tough away game on Saturday. I'm thinking that these two are more bothered about making a statement that the new manager will be their choice, they want the kudos from the owners for the due diligence they have performed in sifting him out. Do what the players and the fans think not matter? |
Maybe sheehans deal doesn’t end until after the last game. They can then appoint him and would save permanent manager wages for a few months

Fourthed. Shirley the money we’d save on compo to Hammarby, we could spend on sacking Sheehan if it does go tits up?

His deal finishes at the end of next season. His interim deal is an enhanced salary and bonuses. But he won’t see his main deal out if he doesn’t get the permanent job. He is head coach material now, nothing less.
