Wtf are the club thinking of? We have a manager who totally understands the current squad, the feeling is reciprocated, the fans love the current manager, wtf are they bringing this guy over talks, because that's all it is, talk, it means nothing, it's actions that count, sheehan has proved he's the man for the job through actions, getting us out of the relegation battle. I hope the club do make a Sheehan an offer and also intheir conversations they align as Sheehan spoke of.
The risk is the owners and executive management may not share his vision resulting in him moving on.
This would be sad and bad news for us fans but the club needs a plan b shoukd plan a not pan out out surely? | |

That’s too simplistic a question Ed. They will matter but to be accountable for the future the management team have to think independently and dispassionately. This will clearly take into account the success to date which has resulted in him being a fans’ favourite and presumably the players too. Will they consult the players? I don’t know but I doubt it.

After seeing how sheehan has changed the teams attitude and confidence around in only 2 months I can't believe that these two are bumbling around.

My worry is that, even though it's clear as day to most fans that sheehan is the obvious choice for the reasons you have stated, those two still haven't appointed him, when it would a great time to do it before a tough away game on Saturday.
I'm thinking that these two are more bothered about making a statement that the new manager will be their choice, they want the kudos from the owners for the due diligence they have performed in sifting him out.
