As much as I want Eze to do well, he is a great footballer and an exemplary human being, my only concern is QPR, get him sold to the highest possible bidder, how his career develops from that point on is his concern not mine. QPR First. Make QPR great again.

Henderson’s dad was a Perivale boy that went to Northolt High. He was a really good mate with my brother and came away with us many years ago on holiday to Tenerife. The Henderson’s moved up North through work and the Man U thing happened. Unfortunately, Dean’s dad Dougie died fairly recently. He followed his son all over the country when ever he could.

Didn’t really work for him in Manchester. Look at them now and how things are on the up at Palace.

Broke me yesterday when he said he’d lost his dad at the start of the year and wished he’d been there to see it. What a performance young man.

He had a loan at Grimsby in League Two which was absolutely hilarious. Don’t think they conceded a goal for about 6 months. Quality goalkeeper, and big respect for breaking out of a “big club” because you want to play some actual bloody football.

Sorry Mick, Don’t know roughly what age he was when he sadly passed away?
Just wondering if he was around my year at Northolt High. I never knew that .
Dean is the same age as my son .

Agree with what’s been said already, not sure how he kept it together in the interview I saw where he was talking about his dad and he dedicated the win to him .

Mart - Dougie was around 56/7 when he passed away. My brother sent me a few photos last night - the 3 of them together. I tell you, Dougie was a flipping massive bloke. My brother told me once that as a promising youngster at Man Utd, how they took bone samples from Dean to work out if he was going to be the required height for a keeper. He was, so they persevered with him.
Absolutely delighted for him yesterday. Probably one of the games of his life, if not the best.

Did I ever mention that I was in Minder?

I read a report on Bloomberg today (can’t link to it) that Palace might miss out on Europe if PSG win the French Cup. That would free up a place in the Europa League for Olympique Lyonnais. OL is owned by John Textor, who owns 45% of Palace, who wouldn’t be allowed in the same competition if he is thought to “control” both. OL finished higher in their league than Palace so they will take precedence.

I know it's a cup game and anything can happen but I'd imagine PSG are firm favourites this weekend by a long way. Only lost 2 league games all season (and those were back-to-back just a few weeks ago), in the CL final and Reims finished 3rd bottom with 8 league wins all season.

if it means Eze moves for big bucks to secure European (at a decent level, not the stupid Pewter cups) then that's good for us.

My Palace supporting friend thinks there’s a points deduction hanging over OL too…just the man you want running your club!
